One strategy behind shopping the sale

But if you are okay with her restrictions then it should be okay.[/QUOTE]Whenever I spot a provider who offers a reduction in their regular rate, it tells me that they have enough business sense to make adjustments when market conditions change. One good example is Lara Rose, who regularly advertised at 300-400 per hour but would run specials when things were slow.
One strategy for "shopping the sale" is to (hopefully) leverage that session to get similar pricing in the future. Going back to the Lara Rose example, my first visit was 180 for 45 minutes of full GFE. After that, whenever I saw her advertising in my area, I'd call and remind her of our previous session and ask if that price was still available for me. If she was super busy she'd politely decline and I'd laugh and say "maybe next time" and leave things on a positive note. But several times she accepted and I jumped at the chance to see her again.
As always, YMMV depending on the provider and your own ability to establish good rapport. But, at the very least, "sale shopping" gives you the chance to sample the goods to see if you even have any interest in a future session. And, at best, it gives you a chance to establish a new baseline price between you and that particular provider. But it only has a chance of working, IME, with women who don't have GPS and are willing to adjust to the market. And it works best for clients who use a low key approach that doesn't make the woman feel like you're lowballing her.
Again, since I haven't personally seen Michelle, I don't know for sure if any of the above applies. But, when she drops her rate from 240-250 to 180 per hr, then it might be worth it for some monger who's been wanting to try her anyway. I haven't checked her ad since my earlier post so it's possible the "sale price" has expired. If that's the case then the lesson there is the importance of acting quickly when opportunity presents itself.

For several years I was a member of P411. I gave up my membership a year ago after changes to the US law made the site less useful than it had been.
I would be interested to hear from P411 members. Has it improved in the last year? Do you think it is worth the 150 annual fee?

I missed seeing her on one or two visits, then the last time I saw her, probably 4-5 years ago, I left the usual fee on the dresser on my way out. Two minutes later, she calls to yell at me that I ripped her off.
It turns out she'd raised her rates since the previous time I saw her, and instead of giving me the benefit of the doubt and letting me know about the new rates for the next time, she tore into me and said it was my responsibility to have known about the new rate.
Had she been nice about it, I would have continued seeing her at the new rate, but after she blew up over $20, I deleted her number and moved on.

I've gotten a number of PMs asking if I'd recommend so maybe my earlier post wasn't as clear as it could have been.
My main reason for posting was to alert the forum about her current sale prices in case anyone had her on their "to do" list. And a secondary reason was to mention the strategy of possibly leveraging the current sale price for future visits.
Of course, whether that strategy will work depends on the personality of the provider and the negotiating skills of the monger. From BB's post about his experience with Michelle when she changed rates, it doesn't seem like she'd be a great candidate.
