When I arrived Rina was with a customer and the other worker was really pushy trying to make me see her I had to remove her hand from my arm. The way she acted I'm 100 percent sure that Rina had accepted a one hour appointment as I was only doing a half hour so more money for her and the other girl gets my 30 minutes as most of us just say ok why not since we are already there. This actually hurts us because not enough of us say no I'm leaving. We need to stick to our guns and leave which will start affecting their business and maybe they will stop.

It usually does when I know the mamasan tho and I'm a regular at a given spot.

As with anything in life, there are rules and they will absolutely be broken and exceptions will be made for a few.

I too would be pissed, especially if I came from far, which I would in this case.

I've been to serenity both times, and luckily for me, they did honor my appointment. That being said, I was the only person there, so take it for what it's worth LOL.

Playing devil's advocate for them, (trust me I am pro your side), I'd argue they get flaked appointments all the time. While they want to satisfy you as a customer, they want the sure thing when it comes to the Benjis in their wallet. I've gone to a place asking for a specific provider. When I arrived, they told me she was on a lunch break, and I told them I'd come another time. They were really pushing me to see another girl, and I was telling them I would rather wait for a different session to see her.

Lo and behold, my girl comes out and convinces me not to leave.

Could she have possibly had an appointment, and they pulled their Trump card by sacrificing their appointment to keep me happy? Maybe. Maybe that same scenario is what happened with serenity spa.

End of the day, It's not a "legit," "professional" business. They're there to make money.

The worst thing they can do is advertise a girl. I make an appointment with said girl one day before my session.

And when I arrive, they tell me said girl "no longer works there. ".

That happened to me twice. I will never go back to those spots.
