That has been ruled in numerous courtrooms and in a broad spectrum of cases.

What does have me wondering is if these people are using public information and getting addresses and names and sending the letters under the guise of being the BCPD. It may be worth a little bit of due diligence. If they ate the ones sending the letters and not the BCPD, they could be in a world of trouble.

Maybe having a conversation with them under the guise of being a concerned citizen from another locale could get them to disclose their methods. I guess it goes without saying that a micro recorder should be on at the time.

If I see them, maybe I'll park around the corner and walk up to them. Let them know that their tag number has been put on the Internet.

Better to wait a while. If people post "I saw them 14:30" "They were gone 19:25" it won't take many days to have a pretty good idea of when they arrive and leave. Which then makes it easy to be there when they pack it in for the night and follow them.

A letter to their home from a similarly concerned citizen thanking them for their efforts and warning them their license plate has been put on the internet would be far more effective.

You need to be good at shadowing someone, and you should mail the letter from York, PA or somewhere.

But then my primary hobby is writing up plausible plans for fictional villains, so this may not work in real life.
