Yes, if he got $50,000 or so then maybe but $20,000 seems like small potatoes.
Still, something does seem fishy as this whole thing has been taking forever.

In the front lobby I did see 2 new red fire alarm panels. With carpentry equipment scattered in the entrance as well. Surprised none of these fiens on the street didn't steal that shit.

These days, for the last 20 years, it's a drug infested dilapidated dump. Comparable to the city side place. Take a drive through there during the daytime. Any other place on the pike would be better with less risk to you and your car.

BMD.[/QUOTE]USA Motel on the pike has mirrors all over the rooms I have been in. Parking lot is open and well lit, though, lots of comments about the pike safety and surveillance are newer than my pike experiences due to pandemic.
I saw krissy, the tiny, spaced out, redhead at USA a couole of times a few years back and the rooms were clean, though old and worn.

I've discussed this with a few people who know Ernie personally they said he's been dragging his feet and wanted to sell when the place was closed down by the fire Marshall.
At one time they had a Potential buyer but Erine wanted to much money for that Dump.
So then one of the members of the fetlife group created the GoFundMe page.
But yeah I definitely agree with you in regards to something being fishy. Like what isn't stopping
from selling now?
Think about the following factors everyone.
The supplies- gift cards / Money Paint, drywall, doors, a dumpster all were all donated!
All of the demo and renovations were completed by customers who worked for free!!
The $20 k Alarm system funds came from donations!
So yeah again what's stopping from him to sell? Erine would be making A HUGE PROFIT! If not selling even setting up a long Term Lease to someone else. Which would also be a profit Erine inherited the Art Cinema in 2003 from his father

I agree, not much preventing him from selling.
Hopefully he either opens it or has a long term lease agreement with someone who will keep it open as the Art Cinema that we know and love.

The way the police cruiser was angled across the street / middle barrier it wasn't a speed trap.

We met today with the building inspector and 3 representatives from the Hartford Fire Department.
The results were very encouraging even though we weren't 100% approved.
We have some changes and modifications to make based on our, close to 3 hour, inspection and conversations. We're going to see if we can get them all completed by next Tuesday night for our potential final inspection and signoff by the Fire and Building Departments on Wednesday.
BTW, anyone want to help hang, tape, and finish some drywall? The vinyl wall covering in the back of the standee area needs to be replaced. Let me know if you have some availability between now and Tuesday night.

He gives me a bag of free samples whenever I see him. He also looks up my insurance to see which product has the smallest copay for me. He will also write the rx for the higher dosage and tells me to just cut them in half.

I can't remember how many hundreds of dollars CVS wanted to charge me. Apparently, some important date has passed that allows the pill to be mass produced now.
