Looking forward to a long, long, LONG-awaited "homecoming" from tomorrow through the 30th in the ATL. I say homecoming not because I'm originally from but lived there from 1987 to 2002 and basically did my first 10 years of serious mongering there. It feels like my first home as a monger. My main targets were the AMPs during what I perceived as glory years in the 90s. Also did the SW scene, mainly on what used to be Stewart, as well as midtown. Most of that was pre-internet, so used to find most of the escort action via Creative Loafing and other pubs.
Also did some strip clubs, though not as much as the rest. But strip clubs it will likely be this time around as I'll be with significant other, who is SC-curious (and bi-curious). I've read about 10 pages of reviews and plan to read a lot more. From what I've read, Deja Vu holds the most promise, so I'll plan to check it out (presuming it works out with the SO) and report, and may try a few others. We have a Deja Vu here in Lansing, Michigan where my SO and I broke our couples cherry, so to speak. Mileage is low, because of strict management, but the club is still friendly, classy (for Lansing) and a lot of fun. It was just right for my SO. Sounds like the Vu here will be good for our next step up.
