I have not been impressed at all with the offerings in Wilmington. It seems like a real good choice — Anita — has either retired or no longer accepts new customers.

It's amazing how some guys assume that a beach location is automatically the place for this. Despite some of the reviews, the local AMPs are not places you want to visit and local independent providers are not at all impressive or individuals that you actually want to see. Much of the time they are more like rip off artists. I haven't noticed any of the overly zealous and suspect attempts at promoting some of these girls in the forum lately but it has been a problem in the past. It's a many-faceted issue locally meaning that anything that could potentially be problematic with this is something that you will likely find there.

Kind of a response to Johhny's post below.

From a probably year absence from visiting any AMPs, I went to Lucky and Summer spas in the last few weeks. Reviews below.

1. Luck Spa. I didn't mind the cloth doors. Those things are zipped up tight. However, the low walls let's you kind of hear what is going on around you in other rooms. Wasn't too bad but not ideal. On to the massage. Actual massage was good. And in fact a lot of teasing which is something I'm always looking for. My thought is you really need to "broadcast" you like accidental touches etc. That gives them opening. So in fact great massage with a lot of touching. Actual HE was just OK. I think if I had given more direction it would have been better. Funny thing right before the HE the middle aged lady kept asking if I had been there before. I stupidly said no the first time, but then said yes. She then picked up the money I had laid on the table for the tip (standard) and I think she was gesturing for more, I have no idea really. I said ok and we finished the HE. Upon leaving she asked for the tip and I just said I left it on the table, which was just the usual standard. I would return but definitely not paying more.

2. Summer Spa. A Pleasant surprise. Usual rooms all the way to ceiling and real doors, so that is nice. Provider was cute in her 40's. 1-hour massage and she was really good! Then came some teasing and it really progressed, I thought I was going to shoot facing downward but then asked if I could flip (I'm such a rule follower LOL! Much like Lucky the actual HE on the flip was OK, I probably should have let the teasing while face down continue. Again I need to be bold and just give more direction on what I like. No discussion about tip which I gave her after (standard). Definitely will return.

So upon my AMP return, learned to be bold in what I ask for, but not abusive, I think treating this women and being pleasant goes a long way. So pretty happy at the moment and for now prefer Summer. I'd like to hear if others had similar and differing experiences to mine lately.

I have been traveled there off an on for a number of years for work and I just don't see it.

During my time here, I have visited Kings Spa (closed), Summer Spa, and Lucky Spa. Of the three, Summer Spa was the best, and that is not saying much. I think I am done with the spa scene.

What I would like to find is an attractive private masseuse that would be willing to provide extras with appropriate tip. I cannot seem to find one, so far.

THEN I'd get a massage. For like $150 total. Them was the good ol' days. Sigh.

Choices of ladies to see on either the escort or massage side are seriously bad. For someone looking for a good experience it doesn't take long to figure it out.

Drove there this morning. Gone. I thought I kept seeing ads for it, so I thought it was still there. Place was emptied out.

I guess they decided to focus on one — Summer Spa. I know they had the same owner. I drove over to Summer Spa and sat in the parking lot. I decided to head home. I found Summer Spa dark and dreary inside on my previous visit there.

Decided to take a trip to mengmei for the first time. Was greeted by a middle age woman who asked how much time then was taken to the back. Just like lucky spa there are no doors but sheets / curtains over the doors. Opted in for the hour, the massage was actually pretty good, she really focused on the tighter areas of my body and worked out a few knots.

Before the flip no teasing at all which was a disappointment but the flip was standard she took her time and didn't rush, Will repeat.

I heard from Anita today. She said she has been on sabbatical but plans to be back. She did not give a timeframe for returning.

They have been posting with the old HaHa and Summer phone numbers on STG the last 4 digits are 8181 and 5700. It is interesting because they were using the same format as the hotel "massage" ads that is really just quickie FS with an Asian gal. Summer has continued to provide standard / standard (that denotes standard HE after the flip for a standard tip amount, usually $40) Personally, I have been using Lucky for the most part since Angela's shut down. Never tried Mingmei and every time I stop by Kerr, the draw is too old and unattractive for my tastes.

Is to use the search function, do a little research, maybe even try a place out yourself and leave a review to build some status on here. Just setting up an account and asking for recommendations will not get you far and reeks of uncle LEO. My two cents.

Went to lucky spa today and Linda assisted with a decent massage that turned more sensual early on. I was displaying my interest early, so probably the reason for the change. Flip was great with UTC roaming on both the top and bottom. I need to try Summer next time as I've only been there once, a couple of years ago.

So could use a little advice. Lucky, Summer, or is there a better choice?

Also, reading thru several threads I see 'standard & standard' as the service and tip. Could someone tell me what that is these days?
