Typical Americans
Obesity is an underlying issue and around 40% of Americans are obese so that doesn't help your argument.
It's right in front of there face but they can't see it because they're typical self centered Americans. Our way of life has kept people alive that would die of natural causes in the third world. That's why Europe was crushed, not obesity, but a high amount of elderly people that would die if they didn't live in a rich country. It's ironic, but that's exactly why Africa has been unscathed for the most part. The average age in Africa is like 22-25.
Getting rid of Trump is good for America in many ways, and we can have a healthy discussion about that in another thread. Joe Biden will be boring and predictable, but 99% of America desperately wants that after the batshit crazy four years of a racist narcissist like Donnie Dumbo who always needs to be in the news because he's very insecure with himself and never got hugged enough as a kid.
I always find it amazing that many of the very same "leaders" in America calling him racists, were singing his praises one year before he announced he would run as a Republican. What changed? They did, not him. How did he suddenly become a racist? He was the epitome of how to treat people from all walks of life.

Every Democrat from Hillary to Obama to Pelosi was calling Trump a flat out racist for many years. It mostly started with his birther bullshit on Obama, but many New Yorkers remember the ad he took out in the NYT calling for the Central Park Five to get the death penalty even though they were exonerated by the courts. And of course old school New Yorkers remember him and Daddy Fred getting busted by the Justice Department for writing C for coloreds on rental applications to their apartments. Even his own lawyer Mike Cohen called Trump a blatant racist. How scummy do you have to be to have your own lawyer destroy your character in front of Congress and a national TV audience? Think about that one.
Epitome on how to treat people from all walks of life? LOL you are definitely drinking the Trump Kool Aid straight from his dick if you honestly believe that. Trump is easily the most openly racist President since Woodrow Wilson. Calling Mexicans rapists and murderers is one way to grab that notorious title. I think the SEND THEM BACK chants didn't go over well with anyone of brown skin, either. Check your white privilege and grow a moral spine, pinhead. America is becoming a brown-skinned majority country and as a white guy I totally approve of it. White guys have screwed up this nation badly enough for 250 years. Let's allow the other races to have a shot at holding power and pulling all the strings. We'll probably get a stronger nation out of it.

I liked the fact that he tried to tackle the monumental issue of health care. He did fine in some areas and fell short in others (as all do). He continued the 30 year trend of militarizing our police in the war on black males (oops, I meant the war on drugs), and I didn't see any sweeping drug law or prison reform. On trade, he flat sucked as China continued to flood our country with everything imaginable while blocking import access to anything but farm products and scrap metal. In the last election we had Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio representing the Latin contingent so it seems times must be changing. Couldn't really say what goes on in Donald's head but "Send Them Back" is simply the pure political exercise of pandering to his voter base. If he's as bad as you say then he'll be gone in 6 months anyway and Senile Joe can pick whatever gender and ethnicity he wishes for a partner that will appeal to the brown skinned majority. I personally could care less about the skin color of our politicians as opposed to how effective they can be.

An interesting point of fact is that Mar-a-Lago is located in Palm Beach, Florida, one of the wealthiest communities in the United States. Two of Mar-a-Lago's competitors—the Palm Beach Bath and Tennis Club and The Everglades Club—have notoriously refused to admit Blacks. The Miami New Times reported that Hollywood legend Sammy Davis, Jr. Was once kicked out of The Everglades Club, "because he was Black and Jewish. ".
I could go on about Don King, Hillary Clinton, and others. But people do not want to look at the facts of history here.

Trump has failed on both of those fronts because hardly anything got accomplished under his watch except for a tax cut that mostly benefitted corporations and the upper 5% of income earners. Besides, any time you have a big tax cut legislation it always results in major debt increases and we've seen Trump increase our national deficit by $3. 8 trillion in his four years so that blows apart any myth that Republicans believe in small government and reduced debt. As far as the stupid wall that Mexico was supposed to pay for, how much of it got built? Last I heard maybe 10 miles LOL. President Biden will rip all that shit down on his first day in office, so expect to hear a lot of Deplorables crying over that. As far as China, we can b*tch about them all we want but the bottom line is they make all our stuff dirt cheap and that allows us to live a pampered life even as our median salaries have stagnated for 45+ years when adjusted for inflation. If we suddenly cut off China then expect smart phones to cost around $3,000 in order to pay American workers a living wage versus the $5 a day a Chinese factory worker makes.
Contrary to what some people think, I believe a President should exhibit all of our greatest ideals. When you're a pathological liar like Trump, then you're sending a message to the entire country that everyone should be OK with lying. When you call the free press the "enemy of the people" and seek help from a foreign government to win an election and try to make that seem normal, then America is just another banana republic instead of the greatest democracy on Earth. I don't care if Joe Biden is the most boring President in 100 years. As long as he tries to unite us as one nation and promote our core strengths like diversity and scientific innovation then I will gladly vote for him. He'll make a lot of corny jokes and have forgetful moments but that's the kind of lovable smiling Grandpa we all want in our lives. I certainly don't want a Grandpa like Trump who steals money out of my wallet to pay for his weekend golf trip or tell me that all my medical problems will magically disappear one day. It's blatantly clear to everyone from both parties that Trump doesn't give a shit about being a good leader for our country. He's just trying to stay out of prison because he knows the federal and NY state charges are coming and he'll most likely spend his remaining years in a concrete cell.
Overall I'd rate Obama as a good President because of all the various levers of power that he used to improve our lives and also promote our ideals within and outside our borders.
You mean like using executive orders to bypass the Constitution and legislation duly passed by Congress? Or do you mean massive expansion of programs that murdered brown people halfway across the world? Or maybe you mean the extra-judicial killing of American citizens with hellfire missiles because it was expedient? He wasn't for gay rights until it was politically expedient for him to flip-flop and support it, now he's all about the gays despite saying he did not support gay marriage before he was President and for the majority of his Presidency. He sure did a lot to promote *his* ideals within and outside our borders, I wouldn't call any of that American ideals. And before you bust out some bullshit, I voted for the man twice and I wouldn't go back and change it either. McCain and Romney weren't fit to be President, and their actions since Trump won have shown that out even more.
Trump has failed on both of those fronts because hardly anything got accomplished under his watch except for a tax cut that mostly benefitted corporations and the upper 5% of income earners.
So do you actually believe what you're saying, are you repeating what you read on CNN or some other shithole like reddit, or are you just trolling? In 3 years we got the lowest unemployment and highest median income ever, we are effectively at structural unemployment levels for every single demographic that can't be lower in a non-planned economy. It took literally shutting down the country for a couple months and putting millions out of work to get back to Obama's numbers. The President isn't solely responsible for unemployment numbers, but policy definitely impacts it. We're already coming back under Obama's lowest unemployment numbers. How about replacing NAFTA, which just went live last week to 0 fanfare on the news because it's yet another campaign promise completed? How about fixing immigration, something every president for 60 years has campaigned on and failed? This is the first year we'll have less H1 B visas than the year before, something very near and dear to my heart. How about actually fighting China and making progress on their blatant IP theft? How about making other NATO countries pay their share for their own defense instead of the US solo footing the bill for the defense of Europe? How about withdrawing from bullshit treaties we had no business being in like the Paris Accord, which gave more money to China for no reason? How about actively tackling the opoid epidemic and actually making a dent in it? How about fixing some of our broken medical systems like making hospitals provide itemized bills and fixing medicare prescription drug pricing so seniors weren't getting gouged anymore? How about the largest increase in manufacturing since before NAFTA was signed? How about actually addressing issues with the VA health system, something NO ONE has done besides giving lip service about it? How about actually filling every single vacancy in the federal court system for perhaps the first time ever? How about the US being a net exporter of coal / natural gas / oil for the first time ever. We sell more oil than fucking Saudi Arabia now. There's a pretty good list of accomplishments. It should be longer, but Congress hasn't exactly been cooperative. It's a lot easier to be a negative nancy though and just say "oh he hasnt done anything" - sure.
As for taxes. What? The tax changes HURT high income earners in high COL locations. Every single tax bracket is paying less money in federal taxes unless you lived in a high COL location and were relying on SALT to drop your effective rate. It's a progressive system. No shit people that pay in more get more of a cut when you are talking about percentages. I am paying about $750 less in taxes a month compared to before the change, but I cap out the max SALT deduction now. My property taxes aren't even 5 figures, I bet people who live in high millage rate areas with expensive properties got absolutely railed by that change. I'm still coming out ahead, and people that make under 100 k absolutely came out ahead. The changes for S-Corps was also very needed, the previous system fucked anyone who wasn't running a C-Corp. If you had any business experience or owned property worth any money this stuff would be obvious to you, I'm guessing you are an employee somewhere and rent or own property in a low COL area. Nothing wrong with that, but it clearly colors your judgement. Or you're just trolling, that's a thing too.
Besides, any time you have a big tax cut legislation it always results in major debt increases and we've seen Trump increase our national deficit by $3. 8 trillion in his four years so that blows apart any myth that Republicans believe in small government and reduced debt.
Agreed here, reducing income without reducing spending is a fucking clown show. That's on Congress, not the President. They control the purse strings not the executive. Some Government 101 for you. For reference, Obama also had a tax cut during his Presidency by making the Bush cuts permanent.
As far as the stupid wall that Mexico was supposed to pay for, how much of it got built? Last I heard maybe 10 miles LOL.
As of a couple weeks ago: 216 miles completed, 339 under construction, 183 in planning states. It'll be 450 miles by the end of the year. But sure, it's just 10 miles. For reference the entire border is 1933 miles coast to coast. Another point I love to make on the topic: Trump is the first President in my lifetime to actually do what the fuck he said he was going to do. I'll never forget watching Obama sign an order killing Gitmo (a campaign promise) and being glad that shithole was closing finally. Then Congress refused to fund an alternative, so he just fucking shrugged his shoulders and gave up and never really made a serious attempt. Contrast that with the border wall, Trump fought for 2 years to get it done through Congress and finally did it with other funds he had available. That's why he won and it's why he'll win again, he gets shit done even when it's not expedient to do so.
President Biden
Will not only not be President, even if he were he would probably address himself as Senator the entire time. Dude is clearly senile and is only running because his fuckup of a kid got in trouble so he had to run to claim "I'm being politically attacked". That was one of the crazier timelines I've seen.
As far as China, we can b*tch about them all we want but the bottom line is they make all our stuff dirt cheap and that allows us to live a pampered life even as our median salaries have stagnated for 45+ years when adjusted for inflation. It's not a coincidence those two events happened at the same time. I admire a lot of what Trump has done, but the best thing BY FAR he has done is untangle the US for foreign interests. Communist China is the most genocidal nation the world has ever seen, you would sell out your children for a fucking cell phone? They make our stuff dirt cheap FOR NOW, until they've stolen enough IP from short sighted corporations, then they will decide to no longer make our stuff. They need us a lot more than we need them, fortunately between Trump finally standing up to them and Coronavirus a lot of companies are seeing that putting all their eggs in one manufacturing basket was a bad idea.

Does your grandpa also molest women and small children that are within grasping range? I'm going to guess, between this little paragraph and the rest, that you get most of your news from a mainstream media that is blatantly partisan. I'm no Fox News fan, but goddamn at least look at some other sources besides CNN / MSNBC. Democrats have gone off the deep end sometime in the past decade, Trump is more liberal than 08 Obama was and not a single thing he has done would have been a problem back then.

Hey, it's been a glorious year for funeral directors, gravestone carvers, casket makers and body bag manufacturers. Our upcoming elections will most certainly be a referendum on Trump. We will see if the following quote still applies.

[blue]I think Trump is a shitstain on the American Presidency as well but there was nothing to botch. All of Team Lockdown is using this for the election in November and refuse to put any of these numbers in any kind of context. Instead they use hyperbole to paint a picture far more dire than it is and that is killing the third world.
Yes, 120,000 people died, most WITH covid not OF covid. In the same time 200,000 people died from mistakes made in hospitals, should we close hospitals? 300,000 people died mostly preventable deaths from heart disease (they are also taking up 90% of the ICU beds) should we only allow people with a BMI under 15 to eat at McDonalds? Yes I know, people with covid infect everybody and they die, I've heard that so much that I want to puke because people die, they do it every year, SLOWING the rate of infection will not save them, SLOWING the rate of infection will only delay their deaths for a time. Until there is a vaccination whoever is going to die of covid is going to die of covid. That may sound heartless but truth often lacks compassion.
This is about the election and nothing more, that will be proven by two things
1. It will be gone as if it never existed on November 4th
2. Next April or May when the CDC published the annual death statistics for the USA the total number of dead will be nearly the same for 2020 as it was for 2018
In the third world that will not be the case because a few tens of millions of the 400,000,000 that have been forced back into extreme poverty will be dead due to covid mitigation induced starvation. Maybe Biden will get to deal with that problem maybe not, in either case the responsibility for it will be sitting at team lockdowns feet and just as they refused responsibility for the spike in cases after the protests (which I supported) they will refuse to accept responsibility for that as well. But well done you for signalling your wokeness.

Except it happened in 2018 just like this article for 2018 said https://time.com/5107984/hospitals-handling-burden-flu-patients.
And Texas being overwhelmed, MSNBC has been telling you that so it must be true right? I mean it's a RECORD NUMBER OF HOSPITALIZATIONS right?
What they don't tell you is that Texas has 85,000 staffed hospital beds and only 4000 hospital cases of corona. (Look it up).
The total percent of corona ICU cases in Harris county (Houston) is 12.5% and Travis (Austin) is 10% so heart disease not corona is overwhelming the hospitals.
All of that data is easily available online if you choose to look at it.
You're not a bad person, you're simple misinformed by one side of the media that has an agenda. I have the same agenda, I think Trump is a fucking asshole and hope he loses in November but just like he never told people to inject bleach Texas never got close to running out of hospital rooms.
