Basically, we have way too many cops with way too much time on their hands in this area, and in this country. But if you stay out of trouble and pay your parking and traffic fines, you can't be arrested for being at a hotel doing the nasty. You can be harassed, though, so where it's possible it's not a bad idea to park at a nearby restaurant, particularly if you're visiting one of the higher-volume notels.
