I was headed north on Dixie and spotted an unknown WSW staring into her cell phone at 12th street just before the RR tracks. Was riding the loop from 48th to MLK and did not see anyone out, did that twice. Was about to call it a night, but decide to head east on Atlantic, make the you right before federal and head west, when I spot a female at the bus stop east of Perkins st. She previously had worked solo, usually doing to "give the money, then jump out of the car game". Seems like the addition of a male accomplice steps up the game to a dangerous level. I haven't seen her recently, but she's never attempted this on me.
This is assuming we're talking about the chick in the attached photos (which are about 6 months old).
As whacked out as she gets on her meds. When she's not too fucked up, her body and skills were usually top-notch.
Again. Assuming this is her, and that there is now a male pimp / bf / db / whatever in the picture, backing her play, this creates a dangerous scenario that is way more of a risk to even bother letting her in the car. Much less going someplace she directs you to.
From a legal standpoint. It's better off giving up the $$, than risking an assault, false imprisonment, etc arrest. I don't go anywhere without "my little friend", and not interested in putting myself into a situation where I am forced to "throw lead" at someone over. 2 or. 4.
So while it was a "slick move" to grab her purse and room key as a negotiating tool, this could have turned ugly, or even deadly, real fast.
Sad though. The girl was one of my favorites (when she wasn't all tweaked out) way back when. She grew to dangerously unpredictable to continue messing with.
