Alexandria, beware the green-eyed monster, it may end up devouring you. In the end, this type of tactic will do more to hurt your business, than help it.

I also noticed that she was advertising for Louisville, not here. I can tell you from personal experience, Louisville has always been about 25% to 40% higher in rates for a provider. In general the cost of living in Louisville is quite higher than it is in Cincinnati. As a business traveler, for instance, the exact same room I would book up here or say Columbus at around $110. 00, will run around $179. 00 down there.

Ally is actually being pretty smart to up her price while traveling. If she charged the mean price for our region ($150 to $200 per hour) while traveling down there, she would most likely end up with the dregs of the Louisville hobby community trying to book with her. The average cost for just a decent provider is right around $300. 00 in Louisville. If she were traveling in Chicago, you might see her starting rate go to $500. 00, just to keep pace for what the market bears.

She is simply adjusting to the market and filtering via price.

I am sure she will be charging her usual rate when she returns to town.

No response back. The only response I got from her was from a pm I sent her about a negative post from another regular member on this board. She did explain the what happened. But after being gone for 3 weeks she just now came back and started attacking a well respected provider with tons of good reviews. Is it possible someone else is using her USA account or it wad hacked? Or has she been attacking other providers in pm were I am not aware?

Though I would like to. She makes a valid point about cost and overhead with touring to different states. Girl, the boards have always been like this.

If it isn't a hobbyist slamming a provider, it's another provider slamming a provider due to jealousy or just plain spite.

The key is to be able to rise above the childish drama, and don't let it get to you.

By being the bigger person, it shows your maturity and discretion, and works out better for you in the long run.

Not going to try to analyze the attack on Ally but of all people to hit. Ally is a vibrant, honest, and beautiful member of this community that has been encouraging to many. I have seen the girls go flaky right before my eyes as a client, personally. Usually a common denominator involved. They just seem to go unstable and become risky.
