Guys, I dod not let the size thing in the original post bother me and I was pleasantly surprised as I thought she would be bigger than she is. She is not petite by any means but is certainly not grotesque. I can only echo the words in this post and that is you know what you are getting walking in the door and there is absolutely no pressure or expectation of anything beyond the door fee.

The only positive thing I can say is that it was a great therapeutic massage. I did learn a few more things about the operations there. It seems competition, probably from CL and RI and a lot of local amps is hurting them. Crystal basically confirmed what another provider told me about a month ago. There business is off by about half if not more. Crystal had been there about 6 hrs and I was her first appt. for day. The other three woman there each had one appt. From what I gather when business was average to good they would each get about 3-4 appointments in a shift. On busy days a few years ago they would get as high as 8 to 10.

The ladies are upset at the owner and want the house fee dropped. I was told by my provider that they only get $15.00 (fifteen) dollars from the house fee. They have to rely on tip.

My advice to the Mandala ladies. You ladies got lazy and fat or in one case way too skinny. When I started going there a few years ago the ladies were well groomed, dressed nicely, no streaks of gray in their hair, smelled nice had pleasant conversations and you generally wanted to see what they looked like naked. When I left the other night, I saw about 4 of them in the waiting room and I just shuddered. They all looked like old housewives who spent the entire day doing house cleaning and were still wearing the same clothes. You know what I mean, old jeans or sweat suits, no make-up, streaks of gray in their hair and wearing old sneakers. A lot of the ladies are older and are not as tight looking as a 20 yr old so you give them some pass, but as far as weight goes I could only give one a decent pass, and she had some gray hair showing. So ladies, some of you need to go to the gym, fix your hair up, put on some make-up, put on some heels and maybe some tight jeans and sweaters or at least newer cleaner work-out suits. Instead of sitting around in the waiting room between appointments, maybe you should go down and use the shower and fix yourself up. Make yourself look like the hotter older housewife next door that some guys would want to nail, instead of just letting yourselves go. Just maybe you might start to get back the business you have been loosing.

Sorry for the rant but I can no longer give this place a thumbs up, unless you are desperate.

Tried to get into Chelsea Alternative Therapy for a lunchtime appt. Got a bigtime screening from the woman that answered and decided to go for the sure thing rather than call back when she asked and potentially come up empy and get nothing. After much debate between Holistic, TCBW, Cent., Thai in Watertown and Essential, I decided to give Ge a call, and she said to come right over. I asked who was there and she said herself and Carla. Got there in 5 minutes and another client was still finishing up. Carla was the new looker I had in the 4 hand massage with Julianna ( i got the names from Ge). The massage was light throughout, although I asked for medium. I will ask for a harder massage next time. It was 4 handed again with Ge and Carla both providing the soft touch. Massage was good through the end and lasted a full hour. I will repeat. Ge is trying to get the new place established and will probably continue to provide quality massage to keep customers satified and coming back.

I just walked by Forever Young a few minutes ago. (6:00pm) They have a small table set up outside with a bowl of candy in it.
One of the women is sitting in the window with the blinds open, keeping an eye ,I guess, on the candy.

Interestingly enough I had been going there on and off since 1976 or so. I was working in the area and would stop by for a visit every now and then. And yes some of the ladies are still the same. I went on and off for the next 10 years or so and knew everyone there pretty well. I stopped going for awhile but went back a few years ago. Well they knew I had been there before but weren't too sure. They still had my info from 15 years ago which I gave them when they asked the usual questions. Evidently they don't get rid of it at all. They were still very leary and untrusting. And the longer term ladies still gave the same service and others not so much. All that changed was the price and the girls looks and figures. Bottom line is the door fee is too much and the tips required are too high for the 'quality' of the providers. Don't get me wrong some of them are sweet and are good at what they do but they think they are all that is around and they can get away mediocre service and attitude.

Agreed. Fees got too high and the girls started demanding. 6 for HE w/ just a little roaming over the clothes. Well 1. 4 can get you a lot more nowadays. Haven't gone in years.

Just to tack on a few more comments, they do not seem to get much new (young) talent there. They used to have a girl Annie about 3 or so years ago who gave a great HJ but allowed no roaming. She left after about a year.

They may feel their methods work for avoiding problems, but it will cost them new customers (and probably old ones) over time.

Well, it won't do them any good if they get raided. I can understand their paranoia. Of course, being a regular customer, I have somewhat different viewpoint.

Had the most incredible massage yesterday by Amy. Not sure what happened to Jessica. The last two times I requested her and when I got there I had Amy. From a technical standpoint she gave me one of the best massages of all time and my hour lasted more like 1:20. Awesome attention to hands, feet, head, etc. I walked out of there on cloud 9.
