I've done this in the past and the reasoning was sound. First is a loop hole involving the exchange of cash between the provider and client. If there is no cash it is hard to prove anything happened other than just hanging out (just purchase it with cash not a credit card or debit card). Second is from the provider's side as this insures that she will get the amount she is asking for, again make sure all negotiations have been concluded before the session.
