Full disclosure- I am in a bad mood as I type this. Set up a first meeting late last week for this AM with a well-reviewed practitioner on this board. Good communication up to last night, agreed we'd confirm this AM about an hour before to get address (I'm about 40 min from her depending on traffic). So I text at the appointed time (9 AM for a 10 AM appointment) and of course crickets. Finally about 30 min later she texts back. Says she had an appointment and should be done shortly. So I wait, my time window shrinking, and finally after another 20 minutes she asks me if we can reschedule for noon? Turns out it was an eye appointment and she's can't drive, and is waiting on a ride. After going back and forth its clear it won't work. Try for another provider but no one is available or answers. This provider has a good reputation but this was boneheaded.
My general rant has to do with this kind of sloppy and unprofessional scheduling. I am very busy and much prefer to set a time at least a day or two in advance, but I keep having providers bail at the last minute for reasons ranging from understandable but annoying (like today) to complete bullshit (Sassy last week). I'm beginning to get that there really is a difference between the 20 somethings who just don't understand that this is a business and the solid pros (Tonguetwister, Molly, Alexandria, etc.) who don't double book or cancel for bullshit reasons. I like variety but the aggravation is really getting to be too much.

Set up for noon, said I would text a half hour before to get directions. I text and get nothing. 5 minutes later, I text and ask if we are still on.
Reply comes back, yes I'm waiting for someone to leave then I will send directions in about 10 minutes. So I head out to the general area. It was noon, almost 25 minutes after I was supposed to get directions and I send a text, I'm in the area. Crickets. I wait 10 minutes and send another text that I'll try another time. An hour later and I still haven't heard a thing. Why?, ladies, why? I get it, things happen, I've had to cancel appointments, but at least I was good enough to let them know and not leave them hanging.
And I think of myself, generally, as a good person. But, of course, I'm taking my hard earned money, and giving it to girls from BP, and not my family. Anyone else get hung up thinking about this kind of crap?

I think most married guys have those thoughts, some more than others. When I was married I think I justified it in my own mind by thinking 'at least I'm not having an affair!' An affair takes some level of commitment and more time away from the family, mentally and physically. Eventually in part, the hobby spelled the end to the marriage, I liked the variety and excitement more than the wife. Don't really miss the wife, but the family life with the kids is a different story.

Most will freak out about it or just ignore it entirely.
You're looking at it as a professional who cares about long term repeat business and not as an immature idiot who is addicted to one or many substances. Because of who you are and how you market yourself the customers aren't immediately replaceable. A lot of these girls don't see it that way. I won't disclose the name of the guy who PM'd me but I was recently contacted by a monger, several times, who lectured me for reporting on some gals he was seeing, saying it was leading to them getting bombarded by other mongers. I kid you not. The audacity of this guy.
We come here to help each other out by gathering intel and determining if the risk is worth the effort. And some guy has the nerve to tell me two of the gals are now out of the business because they are being "shitted on" as he put it.
I explained to him that for many of these gals, if you don't write a report, they will not get enough business to sustain themselves. He responded by saying maybe that would be best for them. Well, I think each provider can decide what is best for them.
To be clear, if I am ever asked to NOT file a report, either by a provider who is UTR or a monger who doesn't want me to do so, I will honor that and not file a report. Otherwise, I feel it is almost an obligation on my part to file a report because these gals' livelihoods depends on it.
It is not for me to make that determination.
So, to the guy who has sent me several PMs on this, don't send any more. I have been posting for many years on USA, and I try to report it as I see it. If you keep it up, I will out you.

It was an incredible dream. We only were able to meet up a few weeks ago bc our schedules did not mesh together. No fault of hers at all. She stayed in contact with me and we finally met in her new location. Every amazing thing I had read was true. I reviewed her a couple weeks back if you would like to verify. Anyway, with all of the providers who either do not respond to pm's or texts or worse, Ally is the least of anyone's problem. She is a class act.
