So I dug through my junk drawer and found that old phone: it was an AT&T device, so then it would have been their prepaid plan. Hunting online showed that the plan I was referring to below used to be called "$2 Daily Unlimited Talk and Text," but now when I try to pull up that plan on their website it says it's no longer available. In Capitalism it's about what you are worth. It's called individual / private rights. In a Capitalist world you set the price and not the society as a whole. You put the perfect example about the Baseball player and Police officer. Both are people but one is worth more because he has the skills / talent to play.
