Hello all. First time poster here, but I've been lurking forums and newsgroups for about 8-9 years. I don't get out much and am in awe of you gents. I've noticed the buzz lately on here about CH3/Orange, and it seems a lot of people have questions about and/or don't understand the area. I live VERY close to it, and would like to shed some light.

As we all know, lots of gentrification has been taking place in our fair city, and this is on the edge of one such area. The little residential pocket which is actually called "West Poplar" is bordered roughly by Wallace and Spring Garden to the north and south, and 10th and 13th east and west and is really picking up with lots of young professionals, artist/musician types, etc moving in, and there is also big time condo development. "West Poplar" technically extends farther north, but it gets a little sketchy. South of Spring Garden is a different story. It isn't BAD per say, just desolate. I'm sure the coming years will see some development, but it will be severely limited by the old railroad lines, the power station on 11th, etc.

Anyway, the point is, this isn't a bad area. Drug dealing is virtually non-existent. You get a lot of vagrants and homeless passing through because of the encampments up on the train tracks, some group homes nearby and a soup kitchen around 11th and Spring Garden. Although this element exists, the aggressive panhandling/cigarette bumming/etc you get in other areas just doesn't really happen. Some have expressed concern about walking north from downtown, but it's not a bad walk at all, just desolate, and thats only really like 2-3 blocks between Callowhill and Ridge. A straight shot up 11th st. is your best bet on foot. As always in the city or anywhere for that matter, keep your wits about you, but you'll be fine. If you're still unsure, a cab ride from Vine to 11th and Buttonwood will be cheap.

Parking: Many of you seem unsure about the parking lot right there. It's fine, feel good about it, you can find free street parking with no time limits easily on 11th between Spring Garden and Mt. Vernon, Green St. between 12th and 10th, and 10th between Green and Spring Garden. Brandywine St. has parking too, but it can be tight and is limited. The point is, you have options.

Other Stuff: Jose's at 10th and Buttonwood has great mexican food. Siam Lotus on Spring Garden between 9th and 10th has good Tai food and good beers on tap. half decent takeout Chinese joint with some seating on Spring Garden bet. 10th & 11th, Mexican grocery store on same block, and ATM's can be found at the gas station at 11th and Spring Garden and the bank at 12th/Ridge/Spring Garden.

Found myself home early from work on 7/18 with a couple extra bucks in my pocket and decided to give CH3/Orange a try since it's basically a stone's throw from home and I had that certain feeling. Found myself at 1022 looking at TWO buzzers, which I haven't seen mentioned. A blank buzzer and one marked "2nd Floor" or 2f. Pressed 2F, got nothing. Pressed the blank one, got buzzed in. Press the blank one fellas.

Walked upstairs and was greeted by Kim, who asked if it was first time. Said something about around the corner, and got "OK!" then actually a fake line about remembering. Got the usual "You Baby" thing because I look young. This was actually a big dilemma my first couple tries out year ago, but that's another story. Anyway, get get past it. She leads me straight to room and says she'll bring me very pretty girl. I ask for choice. She shouts and 3 women appear. The first one is SO SO...thin, maybe tallish? long dark hair, average to small chest, OK looks. Number 2 is short but not SHORT short, has has about to the middle of the length of the neck black wavy hair, a cute face, big b/small c chest, and just a sexy little body. Number 3 is fairly old, heavily made up, has curly/fried orangish hair, and well, i don't even get farther, because it wasn't for me. I choose number 2. Overall, it could have been great but I think I picked the wrong girl. Place was great, room was great, very comfortable, but I just picked the wrong girl. Number 3 would have had the experience but the first one would have been the pick. If I make it back, she'll probably be gone by then, but the same principles apply. I picked pretty and got it, but I wanted more.

Is this the Ginja spa that is seen on ustinthecity.com? I been to here about 3 weeks ago. Had a girl. Ok. No sauna. But a good session. But not that of CH2. Think they are using the better image of Ch2 for marketing purposes. That's my opinion. What do you guys say?

They now go by the name Orange. You see adds/reference to CH 2 but when you go in and mention the former queen of amp, they just say "they closed".

Location is discrete. Mamasan seems friendly (although she asked my wingman for a tip while exiting). Facilities are nice/clean; Girls seem to rotate quickly. Service seems to be decent but varies from girl to girl.

Bottom line is there are no CH (1 or 2) amps out there at the moment. There are some solid locations; There are some girls who will tease you with the past, and then they move on. Enjoy the good ones and ride out the bad ones.

When CH1 closed, everyone always hoped they would re-open, and they did. When CH 2 closed, we now find ourselves in the same predicament (back to reality). We still have some of the better amps' in the USA (many locations, mostly younger girls, decent service, and reasonable prices).

Had a great experience with Mimi, several days ago.

I've had this happen 2 or 3 times this year by different providers and it IS an issue ... they need to wait until you're ready and you'd think it'd be obvious, but sometimes we have to walk them through the motions. A potential no-win situation if the girl is impatient or trying to rush you, but one hopes that some gentle resistance and trying to get her to do stuff that'll get one ready will be respected.

Last night, I had this dream that unfolded something like this. I thought about seeing a therapist to talk about this dream, but I thought that he would find a reason to call me crazy, so I bring this to my friends of the USG.

I found myself with $160 burning a hole in my khaki pockets as I wandered along 18th Street in Center City. I had thought about stopping into Ludlow, but there were a lot of people sitting at the tables outside of Elephant and Castle, as well as a bunch of young up-to-no good looking type of guys loitering around the various establishments that make up Ludlow.

I figured that it would be too obvious, if I suddenly turned back around on 18th, so I thought that I should walk a little further and go around the block and back to the surface parking lot that I had parked my car. I approached Ranstead Street and a light bulb had went off in my head, but I couldn't figure out why until I peeked down the street and saw an awning that simply said "1819" in big bright numbers. The street looked pretty desolate and not a place that looked all that safe, but I figured that since this was a dream, nothing that I couldn't control would happen.

I wandered down the street and found myself having second thoughts as the woman working in the restaurant gave me this weird look. I found myself on the step of 1819 telling myself that there was no possible way that I could turn back now. I rang the bell and immediately was welcomed inside by an older Korean woman, who suddenly screamed something unintelligible (I guess she was speaking Korean).

From a backroom, an older Korean woman (she had to be pushing something along the lines of 36-38) magically appeared before my eyes and the mamasan said that Candy would take good care of me. Candy stood about 5'4", 125 pounds, 34 C (implants that could have broke glass if they were thrown), long brown hair, and brown eyes. She was wearing a skimpy bikini with fire engine red lipstick. If I had been a brave man like so many of you, I would have asked to peruse the menu, but I am couldn't muster the courage.

She told me to follow her and I followed as I was told up to the 3rd Floor. I started to walk into another room and she shreiked, as if I had done something wrong. She quickly pointed me to another room. As soon as we got into the room, I told her it was way too hot in there, so she turned on the AC to 83 degrees (not very comfortable).

Standing there, she bows her head to me and says, "Ok." I took that to mean that she wanted some money, so I quickly peeled off $160. She said, "You want drinkie?" I told her that I would take some water. She said, "You get ready for shower, I come back." I undressed to my boxers and undershirt and she came back a few minutes later with a cold cup of water and a $10 bill for my change (I can't say that this has happened before in a dream nor outside of a dream).

She has me take the rest of my clothes off and wraps me with a towel before leading me back down to the 2nd Floor. We walk into a shower and I lay face down on the table. She starts to dump buckets of warm water all over my body before she starts to scrub me from head to toe (I have never been that clean in my entire life). She spent a lot of time cleaning my ass, which I thought had been pretty clean, as I took a shower about an hour before coming over.

She told me to flip over and she removed her panties. Instead of thinking about her, I was thinking about all of the stories that I have read on here about the fun that could be had at CH2 and the infamous table slide. I practically popped a boner thinking about what was about to happen. She washes me front with as much rigor as she washed my back. (Why couldn't have I asked to look at the menu?)

She walked me downstairs and waiting there was a much older fellow, who looked like he had just came into town, as there were about 4-5 pieces of luggage in the waiting room. We passed grins, as I walked out the door and the mamasan told me to come back again and visit.

I walked along Ranstead feeling $160 lighter, but more relaxed than I have felt in a while.

I can't say that it was my best dream (maybe a 6 or 7), but those are the breaks that you get once in a while.
