There was an article in the Daily Breeze earlier this week, forget which day, three out of five people arrested have gotten jail time so far. Don't know if one of them was the mamasan you refer to.

Three men pleaded guilty Thursday to several felony counts stemming from a prostitution business in Inglewood that operated under the guise of acupressure massage.
The case began more than three years ago as a routine investigation by state education agents into alleged improprieties at a Los Angeles college run by 40-year-old Sun Ok Joo and eventually led to Oriental Acupressure in Inglewood, according to the District Attorney's Office
Sunhi Lee, 56, and Wilford Thomas Johnson, 77 -- two of the six people originally indicted in the case in 2004 -- will be sentenced Aug. 17 on one count each of pandering for the purpose of prostitution. The three others were Guy Sullivan Wilson, 40, Tami Vanover, 51, and Maria Molina, 23.

3 Plead Guilty For Inglewood Prostitution Business
(CBS) LOS ANGELES Three men pleaded guilty Thursday to operating a prostitution business in Inglewood posing as an acupressure massage parlor.
The business was uncovered by a routine investigation by state education agents, who were looking into alleged improprieties at a Los Angeles college run by 40-year-old Sun Ok Joo. Investigators were eventually led to Oriental Acupressure in Inglewood, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
Joo is scheduled to be sentenced June 8, 2007 on two felony counts for violating the state education code in connection with the operations of JHJ Education College.
Sunhi Lee, 56, and Wilford Thomas Johnson, 77 – two of the six people originally indicted in the case in 2004 – will be sentenced Aug. 17 on one count each of pandering for the purpose of prostitution.
The three other names listed in the original indictment, unsealed in June 2004, were Guy Sullivan Wilson, 40, Tami Vanover, 51, and Maria Molina, 23.
In September 2003, sheriff’s investigators served search warrants at several locations, including Oriental Acupressure, JHJ and the homes of some of the suspects being investigated, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
Evidence along with $2.4 million in cash was seized and led to the case being taken to the Los Angeles County grand jury, prosecutors said.
Authorities alleged that many of the massage technicians employed by the Inglewood business were working under fraudulently obtained certificates declaring them qualified technicians.
Numerous prostitution arrests have been made at the business by Inglewood police since 1990, according to prosecutors.

Wow, this is really fucked up. I just got back from Iraq and was looking forward to visiting LS for some latina lovin' but that is obviously not an option anymore. I'm so glad that there is no real crime out there for the authorities to deal with. Inglewood must be a really safe place now.
