I was in there once, many moons ago, when it was some guy's name and Tally Ho was only place they gave me my change in two-dollar bills. Pretty much sets the minimum for the dancers' tips, doesn't it? I didn't stay long and I didn't go back, but for classy nudes and quality of dancing, anybody think it's worth a short visit?
So, what's the real story on legal brothels?
I enjoy my drives through the various parts of Nye County when I'm visiting LV (like out through Blue Diamond to Mercury area, back down 95. Nice break from the casinos and the LV traffic) and I see a few of the "sporting houses" along the way... I've watched shows on the various TV channels which suggest that the 'average' tab at various establishments is $350. Other shows suggest that the average tab is $1500, which would seem to imply an endless stream of mongers with more money and more libido than brains. However, what's the real scoop? How many $ for the average half-and-half, and are the women actually the really-good-looking eager beavers the TV shows imply? By the way, I won't consider an answer to be admission that you have actually frequented an establishment, nor will I conclude that you fall into the monger description above. LOL
I was at Shari's on Monday. They are doing a large addition. Soon they will be a "gentleman's club instead of a strip joint. It was a nice time but very low mileage. They had 3 girls working at noon, one big tit blond, one so-so black girl and one who was not feeling well and hiding in the back.
I got a few dances from blondie. It was a good full body dance but nothin extra. She claims the place is full of cameras to keep the girls inline. That is bull shit but I was not sure she knew it was.
More may be available but I did not have the time or money to find out.
I think Snowden sold it a couple of years ago and it's Sherri's Cabaret now. I think.
I sniffed around a bit and yes - it's Sheri's Cabaret now. Same folks from Sheri's Ranch in Pahrump.

It might not be all BS being they're the same folks who run the brothel. Having the strip joint as Vegas "front/extension" could give them big problems. And some joints do have cams in the back rooms "for protection".
Then again, they could've just told the girls that to get them thinking.
Then again they could just be telling mongers that to get them to stop thinking ;).
Myself, once they go to the "gentlemen's club" motif I lose interest. Girlie glam and wallet slams.
I went to Vegas and a cab driver took me...
I think it would be a useful public service to repost every week: "Repeat after me, I will not listen to a Vegas cab driver when his lips are moving; I will NOT..."
Wonder if it would make sense to have a Las Vegas thread 'specially dedicated to "Clip-joints and scams" for education of our precious visitors and entertainment of locals?
I visted a few years back when it was Rick's Tally Ho and I got f/s in the fox's den or whatever they called the private booth/lap dance room with the curtains. I was not expecting that but it was good - even got a cell phone number from the gal to give her a call for "room service" in my hotel room. I never did call for that and ended up losing the number.
I visited again this past November as it was Shari's by then and they still had those private room things but from talking with the dancers it didn't sound like f/s was available - maybe I wasn't talking to the right girls or they have changed since the change in ownership.
Anyone know if extras are still available?
On Boulder Hwy.
The ladies with gambling problems can be had here. I've met a few and had fun. Now once they are out of money....they usually decide to walk down to Arizona Charlies. On Route...they try to make more gambling money.
I met serena last Saturday. Scooped her up on Boulder leaving Dannys. Great CBJ for $25. Dropped her off at...you guessed it... Arizona Charlies. I decided to walk in and check my hypothesis....she walked in fast and immediately put the money in a slot.
Back in April sometime a monger asked about cheap golf to go with his plans for Vegas debauchery. Have I got a deal for you.
While exploring more of the north end of town on Craig Road out several miles west from LV Blvd, across the 15 freeway and almost to Martin L King Blvd, I saw a sign on the north side of Craig which said: "Golf $19, 628 W Craig." That's all it said, and I've only been by there at night, so I have no idea what it really looks like. For that price I don't imagine they give you little carts to putt around in like you wanted, but with the money you'd save I'd think you could hire a couple of underemployed ladies from in front of the Four Aces or thereabouts to manually handle your equipment as you nail those holes.

But think of how long the day would be having your balls washed after every hole...
Brothels are a good starting point. My first "mongering" experience was at Mabel's on 95 many moons ago. I overpaid and didn't totally enjoy the experience. I've heard stories of going as low as $150 for FS. I'd guess and say the minimum may be in the $200 range these days. Price depends on a number of factors.
1) The time that you go may be the biggest factor. Tuesday afternoon will be cheaper than Friday night.
2) I heard that local NV residents can get better rates due to the chance of repeat business. Arriving by cab may also increase the price.
3) You have to be a good negotiator to get a lower price, and you may only get 1/2 hour or shorter depending on what she wants. They always start high and come down in price.
4) The girl you pick is also a factor. The blonde bombshell will most likely be more than the chunky 40-something housewife.
5) The amount of money you have is a factor. If you only have $200 and no credit cards on you, then that is your absolute maximum price. If the girl won't go for it, ask to see another girl.
Hope this helps anyone thinking about brothels.

I truly believe that every girl in a strip club has a price. Some prices are way too high and nobody in their right mind would pay it. Some are desparate for money and will do many things for it. The trick is finding these ones.
Strippers make money by selling time. During the last 30 seconds of a lapdance, it's usually better (i.e., more contact). This helps her sell the next lapdance and get another $20 or more. They also may do more contact to sell the VIP room, where much of the time, nothing happens. This is true in strip clubs all over the USA.
Some clubs have strict policies about how far their ladies go. Some don't, although they say they do.
As always, YMMV by club, but also by the girls at the clubs. One girl may give nothing but air. Another at the same club may go further. One may even go back to your room.

Finally back in town
P.S. I support Wastrel's idea for a "Clip Joint and Scam" thread to help people avoid the "cab driver" scenario.
What is Danny's, please? And a couple of landmarks for location?
Sigh,
I do not know why visiting mongers need something else when attractive enough girls work all the major casinos and can be had for as low as $200, and most of the rest for $300. With a few exceptions, particularly the high end places, that is what it will cost. Yes it is illegal, but LV PD does not do reverse stings in the casinos, prefering to let the casinos handle business. And no way is any casino gonna report or even say a peep if you get a casino girl up to your room.
Bottom line is, no need to waste time and additional money visiting one of the brothels. You have an adequate supply in town.

Didn't mean to imply an intent to visit legal brothels, just looking for insight into the 'real' story since I know that what I see on any TV news or 'reality' style show is a lot of conjecture, gossip, speculation, hearsay and outright fiction reported as news or hard facts, so nice to hear what the locals who know really think and know about any situation. I've never been in a legal brothel, and I don't think I'd like the cattle-call selection process depicted by some TV shows, but I know that there are alternatives to picking out of the line up.
In regard to the ladies working the casinos, in fifteen trips to LV since 2000, I've mostly stayed out of casinos since I have little interest in gambling, thus apparently overlooking many opportunities to be found there. I've never been approached in a casino and thought TV reports about all casinos' security diligently watching for and removing our favorite female entrepreneurs might actually be mostly true. But thanks to postings on this forum and a couple of very informative private messages, I now know more about the "how-to" for indulging my hobby in casinos and in a couple of places along the strip. My next trip is coming up 6/16, then 7/17, so I'll be out there checking out the information, for sure.
