Some go as far as asking for full name, work phone number, etc. In my opinion, there is no pussy worth giving up that information; it is foolish and dangerous. But, opinions vary. I can't disagree with Amateur11 or xHippie. I get where they're coming from. But as someone who has used agencies in Raleigh, DC ATL, all over really, and who is also a member at P411, I will say that I think the risks I took in being able to "get in" to those places was worth it. I find it to be a bit of a paradox that you aren't willing to see someone who has "500 reviews" yet pay such low rates that the women in question probably have no choice but to be high volume.

I try to work with clients who want to preserve their anonymity. If they have no references I ask if they have review history. If they have nothing to show me than I don't see them.
