No problem
This is the war room.
Seriously, while she has been known to loosen up and get a lap dance, I don't think I can get her in Tabu. I know enough about the scene (from a long time ago with another gal) to know we could go there and just play voyeur without doing anything. But she'll think she's expected to fuck someone else no matter what I say. That scene is past her comfort level.
I'd like to thank everyone that responded. Looks like it's either Hustler club, or take a drive somewhere.
Hell, you get points just for one of my favorite quotes.
No expectations in there; only people having fun.
Just passing along the info.

Circus day or night
Where you there day or night. I've only been there at nights because I think Destiny is cute so I try to catch her on stage when I can. I find the night time bartender Joe to be pushy and likes to help himself to tips.

I knew joe when he was the bartender at the Plaza. If you get to know him he will treat you better. But you have to take the time to talk with him first before letting any of the girls jump you and ask you to buy them a drink. He's always treated me reasonably well and (I don't know whether this is good or bad since I only come to Baltimore 4 or 5 times a year) knows me by my first name. He always treats me OK. Of course I always make it a point to tip the bartenders. (I drink mixed drinks, and after the $8 - $10 charge, I tip them a buck and drink slowly...and I stop at the Midway as I bounce between clubs where the drinks are more reasonable.) It just shows that you will do well to get to know the bartenders better than the girls. It's true that bartenders come and go, but the dancers come and go much more quickly.
I remain just.
You can get lucky at Little Darlings, Scores or Hustler with takeout depending on which girl you talk with. I had luck at Little Darlings, and Scores.
Somebody on another message board (who claims that he used to work there) that you can hook up with the girls at Scores. Is this true? What about the Gold Club off US 40? Somebody else mentioned getting lucky with the girls there after 2 am.
That just happened this past weekend.
I have seen that happen at Haven, too. Very lively when it does!

Circus bartender
One Man:
I also have been coming to the Block for a long, long time and you are, excuse the pun, right on the money.
There used to be 3 bartenders on the Block named Joe. I think the one you are referring to is nicknamed Jewel Box Joe. He is really a nice guy. I tip $2. 00 for a beer and he was never pushy. I haven't seen him in a while, though. I'm a daytime, weekday person. After getting to know you, he gives excellent references.

Most evening shifts he works with another bartender named Tommy. As you say, "Jewel Box" Joe is always very nice to the customers you don't act like an ass), and tipping him will always do you some good. I only tip $1 for a mixed drink, but that may be because I am a cheap SOB. (And when a girl comes up and gives me the block handshake and then asks me for a tip, I tell them I'll tip then when they dance. I don't tip for a "sales call", but I do tip for services). At the circus, in the evenings, is an older Joe. He used to work the bar downstairs at the Plaza until it burned down. "Circus" Joe is not as friendly to most as "Jewel Box" Joe. But if you take the time to get on his good side, he is nice enough. You just have to realize that a bartender who wears a (somewhat obvious) cross to work as a bartender on the block probably doesn't fully approve of what goes on on the block even though he works there. So I've never asked / talked with him about what girls would put out what or who were the ones who were "true" sluts and wouldn't rip you off.

Jewel Box Joe
Jewel Box Joe still hangs out at the Jewel Box? Every time I see him he's at the Circus just chilling with the girls waiting for them to make a few bucks and sometimes helping Circus Joe when he's busy.
I've known Jewel Box Joe from many many years ago when I was a regular at the Jewel Box. He got to know me and knew the 1 girl I liked. Eventually that girl left the block and I stopped being a regular but he's still super friendly and non pushy.

The Joe that is still working somewhere (can't remember which bar, might have been Circus), who used to work at the Plaza before it burnt down, worked at the downstairs Jewel Box before he worked at the Plaza. In between Jewel Box & Plaza he worked a couple of the other places, probably filling in temporarily. When he was at the Jewel Box I'd tip him, and he generally made sure the girls I found interesting knew I was "OK", or suggested alternates if the girl that caught my eye hadn't yet learned the way of The Bottle. When he was at the Plaza I was visiting less frequently, so he only sortof recognized me, but still he tried to make sure the girls kept this customer happy.

I get to the block maybe 4 or 5 times a year. The Joe (who has to at least be in his 60's) who bar tended at the Plaza most evenings now bar tends most evenings at the Circus. The other Joe (probably in his 40's) tends bar at the downstairs Jewel box most evenings.

Greetings from the DC board.
I was wondering has anyone been to those private lap dance parties hosted by someone named BJ in be'more and other parts of MD (bjsprivateparties.com)? He seems to also throw "extra" parties as well.

I almost pulled the trigger once for one of his " no membership required " parties but got the dates wrong. Interested to hear if anyone has participated.

All the ladies are Black at every event I went to. Looks are average with a couple cuties mixed in.
Now the action really all depends on the lady. Most will give a standard lap dance upon approaching you but more action ca be had had if you do a little talking and are willing to shell out some dough.
