Your cell phone information is collected by carriers and then sold to third parties including private investigators and bounty hunters, or pretty much anyone willing to pay for it.

When in doubt, just turn your mobile device off, then you're not tracked at all. If the SO asks why she couldn't reach you, just tell her the battery was low. Simple.

Just turn off your reg cell phone when you're meeting and use your burner.

When browsing for fun, use your burner, anonymous browser and use duckduckgo instead of google or bing.

Other than the Mr. Number app which is pretty much fed by white pages; does anyone know which site (s) providers use to rate / review clients / phone numbers?

They can no longer report on numbers / give feedback for others to see. That stopped almost 2 yrs ago.

I wonder if turning your phone off really turns it off? I know some GPS things run all the time even when they are turned off. They may just go into some low power mode?

I didn't say it wasn't still active. I said the way providers would write / comment on numbers for others to easily see stopped working a couple of years ago. It's changed throughout the years and at one point it was a free app, now it's a paid app. Maybe they made some recent changes and added reports back, but I use something else and wouldn't pay for it. If they did get rid of that feature, it's probably a good idea because I waa told by a couple of my go tos in the past that some would make false reports purposely about mongers to prevent others from seeing them.
