I can vouch for Carmella. Legit service, absolutely not a scammer. Deposits for established providers aren't the end of the world.
You have 14 posts here. Get out. Say it with me. 99 percent of the time deposits are a scam.
Maybe if the girl was miss Ukraine back to back three times. I could see scheduling a visit but most of these girls look like some kind of horror show from Willy Wonka.

Already done
I think it would be a wealth of knowledge if we started a new thread with locations to visit outside of the USA And tips / tricks.
No need. There is already a whole other site: http://internationalsexguide.nl/forum/.
I'm sure you'd find much more relevant information and audience about Columbia and Costa Rica there than the Chicago thread.

I speak with confidence about her.
Providers with established profiles and years' worth of good reviews are safe. The bargain basement ones aren't. I don't think it's hard to tell the difference.

Hookers as hotel staff
You guys ever notice that the hotel staff at the motel 6 around Ohare are all popular escorts posting on Listcrawler? I stayed at multiple hotels when I came to Chicago for almost a month and a bunch of the front desk down to the house keeping are Listcrawler hookers. There's one I've seen posted here multiple times and she's probably working today right now.

Interesting
Great observation, but do they all actually look like their ads and are they legit?

If you are paying a deposit to someone and all you have from that person are a phone number, a tryst profile, a couple of pictures, a below average hourly rate, and maybe a twitter profile with a couple of posts / pictures. Yes, very likely a scam.
If you are paying a deposit to someone with a professional website (their own paid domain), an extensive twitter history, reviews, someone who asks for screening information (references, etc.), someone who is responsive over email, and someone who just does an all around good job marketing themself (usually with rates that align with that premium image) you are likely signing yourself up for a very good time.
I agree that there are a lot of scams out there. Not 99 percent. And if you are incapable of reading the signs above to tell which ones are scams and which ones aren't, yeah, probably best not to risk it.

WTF. So there's this thing called being street smart.

Raven chance
Thinking about taking a chance with Raven today, looked on the forum for her name or number. Saw one review but the link was dead, so I wasn't sure if it was the same girl from that positive review.
Wondering if anybody saw her recently. She's hot af.
Seriously you would just send a total stranger money? WTF. So there's this thing called being street smart.
I see his point. The reason I don't send deposit is because I don't want anything traceable so it's always cash only.
But let's look at it from a different angle. How many times have we mongers been catfished / bait-and-switched on but yet we go through with it because of a few reasons 1) we are horny already 2) we don't have time to find another 3) not ugly enough to say no.
The hobby has definitely wasted us money. Even the ones that look good at first can turn out to be bad (e. G. Close up skin looks horrible, you can half an inch of powder, her attitude turns to crap after you start the session, etc).
If you do the proper vetting and are confident it's not a scammer based on the circumstances then I don't really see a huge deal. Again for me it's that I don't want Venmo and stuff to be recorded.
Seriously you would just send a total stranger money? WTF. So there's this thing called being street smart.
Eh, doesn't sound that too far-fetched to me. Sending a deposit to someone "accredited" isn't crazy. If they're putting all this effort into the things listed by Jost312, then they recognize their time is "valuable" and need to automatically filter out time wasters or unsure mongers. I couldn't imagine having to deal with all the administrative / back-end stuff that needs to be done by some of these girls who do this essentially full-time or seriously. And just the flood of responses.
However, I've never sent deposits to these accredited girls nor have I seen them, since I don't see them as being worth as much as they ask. And the most expensive girls I've seen are actual pornstars and never asked for money. Just a decent amount of screening. I primarily see the lower- to mid-priced girls, and if they ask for a deposit I just don't respond and move on. I've been burned about three times in the past and am not looking to make it four.

The two most expensive were the best experiences. I have been burned once in the past. But I wouldn't be surprised if I've paid 10-15 deposits total at this point. Only one was lost. Not a 99 percent loss rate by any stretch.
I get why guys don't want people like me to pay deposits. It sets a precedent and then that excludes people from the market that won't pay it. Like I said, I have had a good run. And seen a lot of great providers. I'm single, no kids, lots of disposable income. I generally have much better experiences with higher end girls. So, if I lose a deposit every few years it's not the end of the world. Not ideal, but you occasionally be burned if you play with fire.
Seriously you would just send a total stranger money? WTF. So there's this thing called being street smart.
Aren't we all walking into hotel rooms or residences of total strangers? How do we know what is behind the door? What's the "street smart" rule there?

Deposits
Safe to say most mongers are not open to taking the risk of paying a deposit. I say to each their own! I personaly would never do it, but your money is your money. With that, your risk tolerance is also yours alone and nobody else's. A majority of commentary on here is from newer mongers who have been burned by deposits and it seems anecdotally at least, the data would say that most deposit asks are scams. Sure there are instances where they are not, but only YOU can determine if you want to take the risk.
For me, not worth it, but again. You do you!!
