Yeah, and once the other girls let her know the score, you won't be getting her for that. The basic going rate for FS on PIGUEROA has usually been $.8-$, and that hasn't changed in years. And cardating is a risk you really can't afford in that area, that's why there are so many cheap motels! Just my $.02.

I usually pick up SW about twice a month, going back to the late 90's, if you do the math that comes up to well over 200 girls, although I'm not quite at Baldy's status, or maybe even yours (I'm not assuming how many you've picked up); I'm definitely not a rookie in this game.

I won't argue that the basic going rate is 8-$, because that's usually what I get quoted when I approach girls on Fig, but I don't pay that, and sometimes I've had to pass on girls who wouldn't budge. But there's plenty of girls, if you have the patience, and resourcefulness to negotiate with them; a lot of them will go lower if you can convince them, or if you catch them on an opportunistic time.

I didn't say that I usually get it for 40, actually my normal donation is 60 but with the recent economic turn I've definitely gotten girls to do FS for 40.

One time I picked up a girl, she was cute, she walks up to me and we do the greeting, she gets in, and we agree on 60, but then as we're driving off I change my mind because I see a cop, so I tell her that the one thing I know most girls will jump out of the car for; I tell her that I'm out of condoms and I don't really like to use them, she then looks at me and says that if I pay another 20, that she'll go bareback.. I was like fuck, that usually works, so I had to stop, gave her a 20 and apologized for wasting her time. That never happened before.. but recently the girls are getting competitive.

If the going rate is 80-100 then I guess I've been doing a lot better than the going rate, but I do encourage guys who pick up girls to learn to negotiate, it's the first step in asserting yourself in control. There's an earlier article about how-not-to let a girl pick a spot. That's definitely a no-no, but it all starts from the minute she approaches your car. Never act like she's doing you a favor, after all, we are feeding her kids, putting the clothes on her back, so when they get in the car, if they give you lip or attitude, pull the car over and ask them to get out.

So that's why I was telling him that, Marlowe I respect your posts, and your feedback but (IMHO) I don't like the way you replied to my post, it sounds like you are insinuating that I got "lucky" paying .4 and that it won't happen again, and that for years it's been .8. It may be so, for you.. and many other mongers.

But it hasn't been for me, and I compelled to encourage guys not to settle and just pay what a girl asks, if you're ok with that, you have every right to pay that, but there's nothing wrong with trying to bring prices down.

And as far as cardates, yes, it's not wise and frankly I wouldn't recommend it either because you really do need to have a knack for finding spots, and knowing cop routes, not to mention having a car that has tinted windows. Having said that I like the thrill of cardating, it's a personal taste, some would argue that picking up SW at all is not a wise decision and I would concurr but alas, it's a personal taste.

Maybe you were just being friendly and trying to offer me some advice if that's the case thank you for your words, but I'm simply replying that I've been here long enough that I know what I'm doing and I know what I'm talking about. Just because I'm not a Senior member doesn't mean I haven't been around.
