15th Ave Bookstore

Is there anything going on tonight at the bookstore? I have never been there and keep reading about it, so I'd like to make it out one night to see what its all about.

Just an FYI, 15th Ave is having their Bad Santa party tonight. The parties are interesting to say the least. They typically get anywhere from 20 to 50 couples as well as some single ladies mixed in, sometimes more. There should be some skimpy Santa outfits to see. It's basically a swingers scene. It's 50 admission to the party room & an additional 20-30 to enter the bookstore / spa section if you choose to. There is a lot to watch in the party room but not always opportunities to join in. Sometimes couples will venture over to the theater area to play with the group of guys. It can be fun to watch everything going on around. It runs from 8 to 1, the heater / spa is open til 2. The party is BYOB & there is a bartender to keep your refreshments cold.

I had a prior commitment & was hoping to wrap that on up earlier & head over. It ended up going later than I thought. I'd be interested in hearing from others that were there. I saw that there is a party tonight at 15th Ave. I checked the Fetlife group to see what kind of crowd might turn out. Under the "going" and "might be going" sections, there is a list of member who are planning to attend or might be planning to attend. You can click on their profiles. I noticed that 2 of the ladies going explicitly state that they have HSV (herpes) and at least 1 seemed really into gangbangs. Maybe they warn the dudes who step up to the plate to fuck in the back room? But maybe they don't? One would think that if one knew that they had an STD that they wouldn't show up to events like this and not warn people, and that if people were ethical enough to warn people on their Fetlife page then they'd be ethical enough to warn someone before they start fucking. If you go with the intent to just watch, you won't be dissappointed & might end up happily surprised. I have gone as a single & there were several others there. Many of the couples are there only looking for other couples but the sometimes get ladies looking for a GB, they even have a separate section curtained off for that. The only problem is the cost. It's 50 for a single male to enter the party, it's an additional 20 for the theater & spa. The party ends at 1 but the theater is open til 2 so the action usually moves there after the party.

Parking is a pain. The lot is reserved for couples. Single males park in the street. There are no parking signs but they don't seem to enforce thatt rule. I don't think anyone has had a problem. It's fun to go even if all you get to do is watch, there is stuff going on all over the place especially later in the evening. It is a BYOB, you hand over your beverage to the bartender & she looks after it for you. Hope this helps!

This past Saturday night. It was my first time after reading about these events for years. It was a $50 entry for me as a single guy, but that gave full access to everything. Not that you had to be gay but it was showing only gay pics (both men and women) on the big screen.
