The street girls were very nice quality back then, no robbers or setups like today. They were druggies too, but clean, friendly, and good performers for a twenty. A lot of the dancers did that after their shift to make extra money.

We probably were there at the same time one time or another. I didn't have any special day I went. Saturday or Sunday afternoon were usually my times. I never saw the owner there that I remember. Saw his pic in his obit a few years ago. Did his son work there? I remember a younger guy that sort of looked like him. I also remember Mom the bartender. Not sure what her real name was. Good memories.

Good memories.[/QUOTE]I don't know if Tony had any kids. Bartender was Jerry Lynn, she went over to Uptown after the Brass closed. Some of the dancers would tend bar if she had to go do something. There was also a bartender named Gail, 40 ish, tall redhead with spectacular legs. I had those wrapped around me many times. LOL She liked me. Too bad she was into the drug scene. I guess most of the Brazilians got out of the trade, all you hear about now are Colombians and Dominicans.

I had been here one other time on a Monday afternoon and I couldn't have been anymore disappointed. But decided to give it another try after all the positive feedback I've seen and it was worth it. Went to check out a few strip clubs this weekend as I'm new in CT, and new to any adult hobbies. Here's my take on these:

Ruby's. Full nude strippers, but no alcohol anywhere. Was told I can BYOB but when I asked where I can get some close by I was told there's nothing open. Decided to check out the place anyway. Couple hot girls in there, some ehh. There are some pool tables in the back, also some private booths in back for lap dances. Long stage, girls dance two at a time, customers can sit in front of stage on seats or in back of a bar separating the stage and the stools where the girls get on the bar and dance also. Played some pool and drank a couple drinks (they only have energy drinks, iced tea, water, Gatorade). Some dancers play pool also, some joined my game, with their butts and racks dangling around. Lap dance. 2 a song, not sure of any extras on the menu. Didn't get to ask. Music mixed. All different types. Decor more of a country type feel (at least that's how I perceived it as), flannels, trucker hats, cozy as hell, friendly people all round. Took a last swig of my iced tea then on to the next spot.

Mystique. Cool vibe in there, DJ was OK, girls are ehh, blonde bartender hottest out of everyone. Not sure if she dances also, didn't get to ask. Girls dance one by one on a little stage, not really viewable from the bar, does have seats around the stage but I didn't sit there as there were quite a few people sitting there already. Not sure what's on the menu, any extras, didn't get to ask cause wasn't feeling any of the girls. Decor was of a more modernized approach, staff more of a metrosexual look, busy-type vibe. Music was mixed: pop, house, funk, edm, rap, etc. Had a couple drinks (they have beer / liquor) then on to the next spot.

PM. Wasn't full nude nor did anyone take off their tops, just girls in lingerie dancing. Packed as hell on a Saturday night. Nowhere to sit, hardly anywhere to stand as well! Not sure if it's like this every Saturday night but if you're not into crowded areas, this might drive you into insanity and you should avoid Saturday night. The girls I chatted with briefly spoke no English whatsoever. Was trying to figure out how things work but none of the girls were able to answer any question at all. A lot of girls compared to the other places, some hot girls in there, some ehh. Had a couple drinks, they have beer and liquor. If you have no tolerance for Spanish music, you might pop a blood vessel as it is the only music you'll hear in here. All different types though: bachata, merengue, salsa, reggaeton, etc. Girls dance one at a time on a stage on the second level (viewable on first and second level) where there's also some pool tables if you want to shoot some pool. Smoking area out back is a nice touch, unlike the other clubs where you smoke in front of the places (which some people might not want to be seen at). Staff is friendly and accommodating, some cute bartenders.

Wanted to check out another spot but forgot that 2 am is dead time in CT. I doubted I can find any after-hours spots, so home I went.

Any intel on Ruby at PM. She has that look I like but speaks no English. She seems like a dead fish, always sitting on her phone, she is not a very enthusiastic dancer but two weeks ago She was standing next to me, I said "Hi Ruby" and she was all over me in one second, seemed like a whole different girl.
