Yeah, I'm cognizant there is no rhyme or reason to when the good times are on 82nd. I know recently weekend nights I've been out have been weak for sightings. Yet, I'm always a bit dumbfounded when a weekend night is so damn slow while the weather is perfect.

I have been distracted in finding the redhead (#2438) & Friday & Saturday night were no different. As such, altering my patterns to limited area I've seen her, yet not a hint of those sweet lips. New intel from another member gave me the impression she was most likely to surface in her regular Washington stomping grounds rather than here. Sigh.

I did go JCB to Sandy a few times only to have three sightings all night from 9:00 to 12:30. I've seen the horse faced WSW out before & saw her get scooped by Sunny Market. A new (or to me?) younger thicker BSW in work out shorts & light colored hoodie was walking between Division to Glisan. She seemed picky & saw her wave off one or two until she finally got scooped near Taboo later. Another possible sighting was taller brunette WSW in boots & jeans just Taco Bell past 84 on my last trip South, flipped around & she was gone.

Oh well, on these nice nights have trouble staying in with Netflix or good books. 82nd just calls, anyway, low LEO, no crazed homeless guy rushing my vehicle (got towed finally only took a month!).

Good tunes playing & good copilot. So it's all good.

When I go to Portland I usually spend all night cruising, often from about 6 to 8 pm, until 6 am or so. There can be SWs anytime. I have also picked up in the middle of the day, but I do not usually do those times.

I remember one Sunday morning picked up a mixed girl at the Walgreens bus stop about 9 am. She was a wild one. Got a number and never found her again. Once I picked up Roxie at about 6 am or so around Halsey. She came to my room and spent a few hours, dropped her near home.

There is an ebb and flow. I have picked up all the times people here usually do, but also in the middle of the day. And also a time I almost always find company is between 2 am and 6 am.

There is no reason for one time to be better than another. The 10 pm to midnight slot is more busy usually, but also more LEO out.

I do not usually do the east roads like AMP, because I am usually just a day or two in town, and no time to really take to those streets, but even in the middle of the day I have bumped into them in odd places. In Portland it always seems possible. One afternoon picked up a girl in the Hollywood District on Sandy.

I think I saw her (not going to look back and can't confirm pussy lips because I missed her). There was a WSW redhead about 20 between Progressive and the carts lady night at about 7:30 pm last night. Not a fair redhead, darker red. She was medium build, wearing a black sweatsuit thing. After my futile & somewhat crazed search for Swenja (spotted back in home state according to forum member who so kindly messaged me with the info. Thanks dude!) laid off 82nd the last 10 days or so. Besides the little I did hunt never saw much that much. My psychiatrist mother (rest her soul) would tell me it's probably good for me to lighten up on that obsessive compulsive behavior. So, recently I just put all that stalkerish energy into making a living, yeah I know what a concept huh?

Anyway, at next to last day of latest gig & good payday is tomorrow. My apprentice & I have a day of punch list, so tonight got home, showered etc. Did some paperwork & was about to sink into mindless Netflix with a beer, when apprentice called & asked for emergency advance on what I will owe him Friday. After giving him a fair amount of shit for letting me get all the way home before mentioning that fact agreed & the copilot & I headed over to Fremont /82nd area after I stopped at bank. Still I persevered & headed up to his rental way the fuck up on Rocky Butte & dropped off some cash he needed for rent. Got all turned around up there & came out right in front of Dominos at 82nd somehow. Standing right there at corner was Sarah with the everchanging hair! Fuck yeah, one of my unicorns delivered to me. She was looking pretty good munching on a slice of pizza which the copilot was very interested in LOL. She hopped in & off we went to casazava. Gave her something to drink & we chatted some. What a story of woe she told but little javi was still barking in my ear & growing harder by the minute, so I cut her off as we stripped, she's got a bit of a looseness going in her belly & ass from the pictures I've seen but not bad. Made out some & I played & sucked on those cute & responsive nipples while she gave little jav some soft hand stroking. Got some fingerfucking going on her & unfortunately she didn't pass the smell test. Not full on dead corpse rank like the other Sara (#2179) but give it a day or so to ferment some. I'm getting back into the game after years. I used to troll Sandy from Prescott to Burnside area, but the few times I've done that recently I've seen nothing. Still seeing sporadic options, mainly From Glisan to Fremont, and Stark to Holgate areas. Met a older blonde wearing black running pants near Popeye's on Fremont the other night. Missed an extremely curvy black girl in tight jeans and black suede boots crossing Powell the other night. She was gone by the time I was able to loop back around. Saw a chubby punk girl with pink hair, skirt and fishnets. Missed her near Glisan but met her near Division. We went to watch movies at Taboo.

There used to be a post floating around called "<someone's rules for street mongering" or something. Maybe someone can post that. The first rule is, don't talk through the window. You pull up (on a side street, dammit!) and she comes to the window, all you say is, "hey there, need a ride?" and see if she gets in. If she asks if you want a date or whatever, you don't answer until she's sitting next to you and wheels rolling. This is to avoid LE stings and it's great advice. Usually a cop or CI won't risk getting in the car.

Other than that, I'd say the main thing is, take it slow. First few nights out, just cruise the stroll and get a feel for it: where the girls are, if there are any cops out, good side streets for pickups, a secluded spot for a car date, and so on. It's ok to change your mind once the girl is in the car, just be a gentleman and drop her off near where you picked her up. And if you're polite and respectful, you'll get better service (IME).

Good points and read the 22 rules. One of my rules is always drive a good distance from where you pick up the SW. I recommend driving at least a mile or a min of 10 blocks or more on empty streets. Also try and find a area where you can only enter from one direction. This reduces the amount of traffic passing by.

I break so many rules I'm SMDH at times. Anyone who reads my longwinded reports know I miss as many if not more than I pick up.

Seriously, Jose & MongerSeeker gave some good advice & Piker's rules on the front page are a good starting point. Also reading this Portland forum from start to finish is a good idea. After you read that, check out other cities SW forums as you can gain useful general knowledge. There's also a dedicated LEO tactic forum here somewhere I remember reading (I can't seem to find it now though).

For what its worth, I will add a couple of Zavi's Portland specific rules that have evolved over my hours on our Portland stroll.

I know some of you have no place to do the deed. I've been there & it's a never ending hassle to find that perfect place to relax. I know it's tempting to park in some dark residential area & I've recently missed a few pickups only to see dumbshits park directly in front of some civilians' house. Whatever you do, stay out of the residential areas! We're in some kind of reduced PPD effort era as far as 82nd prostitution is concerned lately & the surest way to fuck that up is to piss off the residents right off 82nd. Many residents that live along there despise that, "livability" & all that shit. Right now, the out of control homeless & related are city halls focus, yet it could easily turn & focus again on SW's. Some of you surely remember when Montavilla residents marched about the prostitution on 82nd & bitched to city hall to put a stop to it. Not a good time for mongers or any workers. So, spring for a room, hit the video places or find a dark corner of some park. Out of sight out of mind is better for all concerned.

Don't start driving erratically or bring attention to yourself when you see that one that makes you dick jump out of your shorts. I can't tell you how many times I've seen one that piqued my interest & flip around to intercept only to have some asshat who spotted her too pass me on some residential street at 50 MPH+ to be the first to her or cut me off right in front of her. Yeah, her ass is wiggling like three squirrels in sack & calling your name. Yet really think about it, Portland pedestrians are as dumb as fuck & roaring through the neighborhood at that speed is not going to turn out well for anyone.

Always have an excuse why you're out in case you get pulled over. 82nd is easy with all the business's around or dream up a few of your own like my surefire excuses.

Relax. I can always pick out some of the mongers out who don't & if I can recognize you, sure as shit PPD will, remember the hunt is as almost as much fun as finding that cutie who bangs you cross-eyed into next week. Stay hydrated, listen to your favorite tunes etc. & in my case pet the copilot.

Remember there's always another cutie down the block.

I'm sure some of us locals have more tips we'd like all want to hear.
