So after I drop off Karen, I thought to myself, "I was really hoping for a hotel date and since I was a the Gevena I should make a few calls." But none of my regulars picked up, so down the trial I go.

I saw a hand full of SW from Lee to Holden - most were dodging rail drops as the shower kept turning on and off. At that moment I about shit, I looked behind me and there was a big black F150 - totally black'd out. So I pull out and head south, that's when I took the picture. This girl was fresh and clean, but looked to good to be true. Then I saw two OCS sitting in the gas station parking lot.

I just headed south, big black F150 behind. I turned, He turned...I ended up on Michigan and I-4 and headed home. That was way to close a call.

Hope no one else got jammed up in the UC ops.

It seems like whenever this 'one' provider (shall remain nameless) 'stands me up' , I get the courage (and luck) to value shop off the streets. The giant bag to hide the recorder to capture audio is a give away on her. Glad you didn't get caught up. I have noticed more stings and more random pull overs the last few months. I like to just drive through areas to report but was pulled over 3 times this summer for no reason whatsoever. Lakeland cop admited that the reason was it is a "high drug area" on a main road and my car looked out of place.

I thought my eyes deceived me as I came up on the corner of 17/92 - 436. This was the north/east side of the street in front of the plaza.

Had a HUGE scare last night. So I decided to take a quick spin down the trail after hanging out with friends at a bar. Wasn't much on the main strip of the trail around the time I was out (3:00AM) I started from OBT and 408 all the way to FL mall not much talent. After getting to the FL I started heading back north to 408, I decided to check out the backstreets near the Racetrack by I4 overpass. Don't take the points. I stupidly did that a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, I rear-ended a guy one year later in the rain. That is costing me big-time on my insurance with the two blemishes. You can't get an accident dismissed, no how, no way.

You can do one of two things: take the driving school or get one of those traffic lawyers.

The driving school will be slightly more when paying the ticket but no points. Find one and enroll immediately. That's what happened to me with the first ticket, I couldn't find one soon enough because of my work schedule.

You can try to fight the ticket with a traffic ticket lawyer. It'll run $70-$100 to hire one. Their thing is that they go into court to represent you. If the cop doesn't show up, they'll be able to win your case and you don't have to pay the ticket or get points. If the cop shows up, they'll probably get the points dropped anyhow for you but you still pay the ticket. Unfortunately, you'll have to pay court costs in either scenario. My $200 speeding ticket ended up costing me $380 because I went for this. The general rule is if you get a ticket at a speed trap, the cop will show up in court because there's so much revenue involved with all the tickets written that day. If it's an individual ticket like you got, you stand a better chance of the cop no-showing and winning your case. It's your choice, but I recommend doing one or the other quickly.

A few months ago I got a BS ticket for an "illegal lane change", which I did when some morons had been blocking traffic in front of me for too long. And the cop showed up just at the wrong moment for me. Not only did I feel that I should not have been ticketed, but I had already used up all of my traffic school options (I. E. Five over a ten year period or something like that).

Anyway, I got an ad in the mail from The Ticket Clinic ([url]http://www.theticketclinic.com/[/url]) and decided to give them a call. I paid them a fee of $60 and I didn't even have to go to court. Although I ended up still having to pay the fine ( $145), I avoided getting hit for any points and it didn't go on my record. Thus my insurance company never found out. Based on this one experience, I recommend them.
