Seme. Maybe the lease is up?
No matter what it always stings when another one bites the dust. I don't have any solid info but I can see what has already been reported. Considering the timing I am not sure if it is a rent issue. Rent is at the beginning of the month? If they were voluntarily closing it would likely be the end of the month. If you already paid your rent or owe it then you would not close in the middle of the month. We all know the Chinese never leave money on the table. So we may have a licensing issue or similar situation as Pink and Violet? The only other thing on the table is LEO visit?
I wonder what the reasons are. They might have just wanted to get the place cleaned out for the end of the lease. Because I think they moved in last February so maybe that means maybe the year lease is up? They may have to have the place ready for occupation by March 1st so maybe that's why they closed early? It may be that the landlord already has it rented out. And it's such a shame because she spent so much money and made such a nice spa there.
Checking around I don't see anything about any LE activity. They might have also had a visit checking MT licenses. Not everything makes the news I guess.

Business license January 2024.
Typically these places sign multi year leases because of the work required to make it into a suitable spa by the owner. They've been in there two years, and most leases run 3-5 from what I'm told. Annie once shared with me her finances and how many customers she needs a day to make it work. I have not spoken to her, but my guess is the store just wasn't busy enough to make ends meet.
No they haven't been there two years. They just got the business license in January of 2024. What's weird to me there's it's only a 6-month business license.
