During the weekdays (like Tuesday to Thursday), a room can cost (after taxes and fees) $60 to 70 a night (as you suggest, like Circus Circus or Stratosphere). But when you hit the weekend nights, even the cheaper places (assuming you want to be on the strip or even Downtown LV) would end up being $150+ (after taxes and fees) a night.

The prices I quoted though were the total price inclusive of taxes and applicable fees.

That way, they know they have to leave after we are done.

At $39 per night before tax, which is $44.21 including 13.38% tax per night! In some cases, the resort fee can be higher than the room rate!
