While I'm sure a lot of people would only be concerned about avoiding the conviction, a lot of other folks would be concerned about the mere fact that they got arrested. Once you had any conversation with that UC acting as a SW, you were getting arrested. Once arrested, that person is going to jail. Then potentially posting bond, hiring an attorney and making a court appearance or two. Yes, the charges got dismissed, but still a major hassle, especially if the person has an SO or a professional occupation or whatever else to be concerned with. Bottom line, there are inherent risks in this hobby and everyone should act accordingly. Play safe!
