Opening the Developer Tools menu I found the attached ERR_BLOCKED_BY _CLIENT errors, which are fairly self explanatory and I'm betting you'll see the same if you check as well. In my case it was uBlock Origin doing the work, as soon as I disabled that everything loaded straight away.
Unless you're loving the workaround of specifying pages my suggestion is to disable extensions one by one until you see the problem fixed.
