The kind of service most of us look for is not exactly 100% A-OK in MA, and the kind of service presumably advertised is also not OK without a state license (that's why it's called "LMT"), which I doubt very much is part of the deal.

I think it's safe to say that most of us do not usually go cruising with a buddy in the shotgun seat who stays put for the duration, and it's perfectly reasonable for someone operating under the radar to be suspicious. Wouldn't you be in her place?

If anything, your report (apart from the part in your first post about her inquisitiveness) should make this provider more attractive, not less: I definitely prefer a cautious and careful provider. Angel because of her rack. She also provides a great massage with good teasing. But Amy is actualy the warmer of the two. Not as good a masage as Angels but with time you'll actualy get more from her. Plus Angel is always on the phone to the point that it becomes annoying. Angel also bounced you over to Amy because a regular of hers showed up. When you become a regular, you can do some bouncing of your own.

It threw me off because I had read reviews totally opposite of what happened.

So I went back a second time, and from then on it was totally different and got the full treatment. She actually liked me as a customer because I never broke appointments, and (hardly) ever showed up late. She mentioned all the NCNSs and said it was a big problem.

And too bad her her replacement, Linda, is just out and out not worth it. A face only a mother could love, no massage technique, and just very poor communication.
