[/QUOTE]Locally I don't make use of hotels -- my FWB and I have a few places we can find some quiet -- but when I do, I make extensive use of the AMEX or Visa gift cards that you can get most anywhere. I load a few hundred on them, link them to a Priceline account, and reserve my room that way. I don't care if the front desk staff look at my I'd, I do care if that I'd is linked to something requiring an explanation. You can always find some hotels in the $40-80 range for "right now" usage. At the $80 end, you'll have nice sheets, a big shower, and quiet.

On the one occasion the desk clerk asked about my stay, I just said I was in the area for a training and needed a place to shower and rest before a business dinner.

Gift cards are your friend -- they just look like an expensive something you bought at Target if someone looks at your credit card statement.

Sad story. But if she would come to Raleigh, make sure she was squeaky clean, smelled nice, was sober, was professional acting, and dressed halfway decent, she could make a fortune here. We are so starved for service to rate ratio fairness and providers like I just described there is no way she could fail.

Thanks for your input, Sam. I'm not so much worried about the cost as I am with getting in and out with a minimum of fuss. Maybe using cash instead of plastic.

I was watching Dr. Phil the other day and he had a girl on that advertises massages on Craigslist or backpage. I didn't recognize her though LOL.
