So I was watching the Casey trial (I know, I know) and they were talking about CSi tools concerning internet use and tracking of people and where they were, the keystokes, etc. Ect. It reminded me why I bought a program a few years back.
I've started using the email system that the guys here recommended (Vino and a few others) for a while now but I have used another program for years because I used to look at porn on my family computer and was afraid of getting caught LOL (strict family ughhh) I'm not suggesting you buy it or asking you to look but giving you a tool should you need it for your PC. Another thing I often do is surf the web anonymously using simple programs. Both sites are listed below. I listed Cnet also if you want to search it, it's a great download site and safe.
Before you start saying I'm paranoid, I admit I occasionally am, but I also know that there are smart ways to do things and am just trying to pass that on to fellow mongers. If mice were smarter, all the cats would starve and I'm all for that.

FWIW, I started out with a Tracfone as a monger phone. Not bad, phones are really cheapie. I have gotten tired of the expiration dates and carrying yet another phone around that someone could find. Another monger on this site pm'd me about Google Voice. I have been using it on my regular (big name network) cell. My primary interest is to put a layer between my hobby and real life. Some potential security holes, just have to stay on top of my game. But admittedly, a suspicious and savvy SO could easily figure it out if she gets into your phone.
I usually stick with a trusted circle of providers. I can always change the number. It's not bad, also allows texting. Probably will get rid of hobby phone soon.

[/QUOTE]Do a little bit of digging and reading into google voice and you will find that all texts done though the service are stored and can be accessed so be extra careful if you decide to go that route.
