First, the area is far from all white; I live within five minutes of that corner and go through that intersection practically daily going to the PO on Old LaGrange Road. There is a large apartment complex on New LaGrange Road just a half of a block away (Wood Road) and another on the opposite side of New LaGrange Road; both have a large ethnic population.
