Servers at any food / entertainment establishment make most of their money off tips, so I don't blame them for asking, nor do I begrudge them the 5% money changing fee. However it does mean I ask the dancers first, because if I'm going to give a dollar, I'd rather give it to the cute dancer. Bonus- the dancers usually have me tuck the twenty in some place fun while they're counting.

Plus having a twenty sticking out her garter seems to help her have a better night. I wouldn't be surprised if flashing higher denomination bills plays a part in the dynamics of the pecking order within the bar. I don't care much about that, but make the girls happy, and she'll usually work harder to make you happy.

Knowing a girl from previous visits has benefits, especially if you treated her well enough that she remembers you.

Knowing the bartenders has benefits for those nights when all the girls working are new.

PC was busy but the least crowded I've seen in a long while.

(PC used to be my favorite, but then it became everybody's favorite and has been so crowded I haven't stopped).

Miami has become King & Diamonds. Cover / minimums shouldn't work on The Block, too many other, less pretentious, options. I've never been in the Hustler, all reports indicate it is not "my kind of place", but I gues they are making plenty of money because it seems all the competitors are trying to emulate them.

I couldn't tell if 2 O'clock was open or closed, which generally means closed.

Lust didn't even make the A / be / see list, so effectively there was only one side of the street, for just the one block.

Norma Jeans took out Mouse Trap and Glass Slipper. Hustler took over Flamingo. The fire closed three more.

If the cannibalism doesn't stop, there won't be a "Block" anymore.

Slow night pretty much everywhere. In the places that have upstairs / downstairs, I've generally had better luck upstairs. But two of the three were closed last night. But then. It only takes one.

Still surprised walking into Circus, and not seeing the old blanket "airlock". Someone spent a lot of money dressing the place up. The bartender there last night I think has worked at every club at some point. One of us is getting old or something, because he doesn't recognize me anymore.

"TC" at the downstairs Jewel Box seems a little older, but actually dances instead of just standing on stage flashing you. She generated enough interest I will likely pursue further on a future visit, but was not the flavor I was looking for this time.

As I've said before, The Block is the least cost-effective way to obtain company, but the ability to preview compatibility makes it worthwhile. Paying high end Backpage to mid level Eros prices (I can't afford high-end Eros prices, nor can I pass the screening required at that level) only to find out the chemistry needed to enjoy the encounter isn't there is ultimately more expensive. AMPs are a good solid value, if you get the right girl, but while a excellent attentive performance can make "nothing" feel better than the full menu, sometimes the full menu is the only thing that'll do. But the full menu has been in short supply at the AMPs lately, or are far enough away, I might as well head downtown.

Anyway, last night was a good night.

Norma's used to be my go to spot, and I was considered a regular, but the last two visits this place has been DOA, First thing I noticed the private area where fun could be hard the chairs are now facing outward with just a beaded curtain allowing for no privacy not sure if there are any other places in the club that will offer you discretion maybe the other stage area. Today was abysmal, typically Friday afternoons at least 6 or 8 girls in times past, but anytime guys 4 outnumber girls working you know that is a problem. Needless to say I think I will stick to Ebony Inn, yeah its a commute but I know that the would be tons of girls and lap dances are cheap, and not $20 for a bs mixed soft drink. Anybody experience the same things are Norma's lately?

I typically go during the daytime shift on a weekend (right before shift change) or during the week (shortly before shift change). The last time I was "lured" to get a lap at NJ's was about 2 or 3 months ago, and the chairs were turned away from the bar for privacy. I then came back later (for night shift to speak to the dancer that gave me the lap) and the chairs were turned to face club. The dancer told me that they switch the direction for the night shift.

You are right, NJ's has fallen off considerably. However, there is plenty of take out to be had when it is slow and the woman was leaving after dayshift. You are right EI is a better bargain, simply because you have to invest less $$ and time to determine if the woman is interested in the same thing as you. However, the quality of dancer at NJ's (strictly based on appearance and not personality) is on average at lest 2 points (I.e. 6 to 8) higher.

First, stupid fucking **** blonde bartender tries to rip me off for $20. No way was this an honest mistake. I saw it coming a mile away. Now, on the block I'm used to the hustle, even expect it, but at least you can get pussy for putting up with that shit. Don't need it from an effin' titty bar.

Second, a bunch of carpet munchers comes in and starts tipping at the rail. They were well behaved and all that, but it definitely put a strange vibe on the place. Might have to re-think this club, or keep it to Saturday afternoons.

Feel bad even giving my old spot bad reviews, but something has to give. I guess I should have took a hint when I seen guys leave the club only to watch a bum hand wash an expensive car parked out front by hand in the freezing cold.

The ladies were okay, not great and needed to work on their footing. Had the misfortune of them spilling my first 2 drinks in the first 10 minutes of my arrival. Then, as I am watching the stage money is flying but there is not one naked chick on stage! Cute yes, but fully clothed simply dancing. I see banded packs of one dollar bills being tossed around and no ass or tits being shown. I guess the place is where you go to waste and show how wealthy you are. Won't be back and I'm no cheapskate either. I want to see high quality nude ladies and feel them up for my hard earned dollar.

Greetings from Michigan. Been to a few titty bars around the state and the majority of them in Maryland but NONE compare to the ones in Detroit. Fun in the VIP rooms is always available at a fraction of the costs in MD and there is take out available all the time. The majority of the girls here are spinners and would take in major loot in Baltimore. VIP rooms are about .2 and everything and anything is on the menu. Have about 45 minutes of fun for 1. Already and planning another trip back there.

If you are single and travel or even come to Detroit for business, you got to make a run at these clubs. If I could, I would move up here just for the fun. Maybe I will retire up here.

I second that. I'm originally from Michigan and boy do I miss the fun times that could be had for cheap in the club. The even better options were the after hours clubs where the prices were even cheaper. Since I've been here though, I've applied my Michigan rules and techniques to the clubs in the MD / DC area and I've been able to get MI prices consistently outside of the club.

Went to the Haven last night. Good time as always. My girl Jordan was dancing. OMG this chick is so freakin' hot. Definitely, a keeper. She has a decent body with the extra padding in the right places and a great pair of boobs. She is definitely my call. Ahead girl. I think she works as a regular on Fridays.
