I dropped in to Dollie's yesterday. After her stage duties Hunny came over and asked to sit with me. Tall, slim African-American woman, great smile. Great conversationalist, smart and funny, we talked about a lot of things, travel, etc. Went behind the beads for 4 songs. Did not get much sleep last night since got back real late from a trip I was not planning to make. Was at local bar Wednesday night to watch the World Series. Wound up winning a pair of tickets to the 2nd game last night. Boss allowed me to take most of the day off. He said he would let me have it all if he got the second ticket. That went to a college friend who lives in the St Louis area.

Found I brought back something unexpected from my recent trip to C- mowes. Not a bad thing. While doing laundry ealrier this week, I found that Cami had slipped a piece of paper wih her phone number into by pocket, suggesting that take out is on the menu for her.
The number is area code 305 looked it up Miami Florirda. So don't know if she has moved to StL area or is just traveling through and will have moved on to the next town on the circuit by the time I return to the area.
How I wish this was not a 3 1/2 hour drive from my house.
