A little bit more sophisticated than your standard cash and dash because it involved the cooperation of a third person but the net effect is the same.
This board is our leverage against the rip off artists. At this point, you should confirm the link to her ad and a message that you got ripped offed. It wouldn't get your money back but it at least alerts your fellow mongers so they can avoid the same fate.
If it makes you feel any better, it happens to most of us, I know it happen to me. And the provider (a South Jersey STG advertiser) still runs ads to this day. About every 6 months, I point out her ad to the SJ board and remind them that she is a thief. I know it has made an impact because she changed her ad telling the STG audience that a disgruntled monger is posting lies about her. So I think it has impacted her business which was my intent.
