One to avoid, part 3.

I posted this experience, even though it kinda makes me look like a fool, in order to help fellow hobbiests avoid getting into the same situation with her. And, honestly, to impact her business a little since I felt cheated. I gave in and *let* myself be cheated, as I said in the original post, because, even though I'm not made of money, I take the long view and wanted to prevent any damage she might have done to my reputation in the fb groups and perhaps elsewhere, as well as to avoid any conflict in the moment. At the time, and maybe still, the value of reputation and conflict avoidance (she told me she yelled rape during the attack that led to her injuries) was much greater than $180, so I chose the cheaper, and I firmly believe, the wiser choice.

I've had several fellow hobbiests inform me privately that they would have never let that happen to them. But then asking for her name! Of course, if you'd never let that shit happen to you, then you don't really need her name, do you?! But it's all good. I'm comfortable with who I am and not easily offended, so, whatever, so I'll give out the info freely to anyone PMing me because that's just the kind of guy I am.

Here's another thing: She has a female cat as a pet. I like cats because they leave me alone, unlike dogs who constantly want attention. I have a tom cat. When I got home last night, my tom cat was being almost dog-like in his affections while I was sitting on the couch. I guess because he could smell her cat on my clothes. Well after a few minutes, I felt something warm on my side and looked down and he was pissing right on me! Well, I grabbed him up and tossed his ass outside where he'll stay for the next week or so! Just one last insult to the injury! But I thought that you guys would get a kick out of that, too, especially since no one else on here would have let this whole experience happen to them!

Unfortunately, I was $100 short so that brought on a discussion of how to cover it. We decided on Paypal which took another 40 minutes to sort out. So, to refresh, it was 8:05 when she finally figured my bill, but due to paypal confusion (on her side) it was 8:45 when I finally walked out and drove home. I got home about 9:40.

Of course posting this probably makes me look pretty stupid, but I just had to tell someone! It's not like I could vent about it to my wife! And, I wanted to give others on here a heads up so that they don't waste their time and money on this person. In my stupid defense, I figured that my reputation, avoiding conflict, and learning the hobbying lesson was worth the extra $. 8 it cost me. I actually know her real name (of course due to paypal, but she actually posts on fb using it), so I won't post it here. But, PM me and I'll gladly tell you who to avoid!
