I was suggesting that it is not usual practice to be asked to go to "her place" and it is wise to be suspicious of any suggestion to do that. Her room, her apartment, her car, her whatever, all wrong numbers. Some guys do and sometimes it works out OK for them, but it increases the risk a lot. Working girls on the Strip routinely expect to perform their service in your room, but if you happen to run into one wanting to take you to hers instead I'd suspect a possible set up for a robbery. From time to time guys get rolled by following a sweet little thing instead of leading her, being lured to a place where sweetie's rude uncles can suddenly interrupt the party, and they do not have a nice day.

I've got nothing against glass elevators. Smile for the camera.

Metro has been staging some publicity stunts the last several weeks around the city with various kinds of hooker round-ups, but the LE situation on the street remains exactly the same as on the street in Topeka or Tallahassee or anywhere else, and the same commonsense precautions are called for on the streets of Las Vegas. A street decoy needs to camp out in one place where the LE surveillance is set up, and will not be going with you to someplace where she has no backup available to keep her safe. There were three guys caught up in the recent Metro operation, and each of them got that way doing their business in a publicly visible spot right next to the streetcorner where they picked up someone Metro was already fixing to bust.

There are generally a lot of ladies of easy virtue circulating around the walkways outside the resorts. Some are welcome in the casinos like any other customer, and some are not, for whatever reason. I want nothing to do with those who are not.

There is a several year old episode of cops where they are set up in a major strip hotel with male undercovers. It is not the undercover cop as an arab sheik episode. Eventually there is a scene where a transsexual prostitute comes in to the hotel room(they do not show its face). There is conversation that indicates that the uc officer met the transsexual in the casino and brought him up to the room. So although I believe rare, I also believe this indicates that Las Vegas Metro will run undercover stings in the casinos on occasion.

Once you start talking....you know, small talk like "hi, where are you heading to" and stuff like that....hold her hand....seriously...actually, she will probably take your hand first. Tell her you would like company, or just say yes when she asks. That is the point where you should do the touch test. Then put your arm around her, quietly negotiate the terms. Don't be stupid or insulting. Head to your room. Place your wallet in the safe..as well as anything else valuable.

Since it involves bringing a working girl (or in this case some kind of imitation thereof) to a designated room where they have set up in advance and have complete control of the environment, probably including the adjacent rooms too, there is no danger of any civilians in the way, tourists getting hurt, or any disruption to the casino's business.

Of course I have known working girls who have told me about getting busted in outcall escort service stings set up in hotels like that, as I'm sure you have too. "Ringy-dingy, yeah is this hot babe #3 from the ad in the Vegas Weekly Curbclutter? Can you come party with me in room 666 at the Ionosphere Hotel right away?" Just like that oil sheik episode.

Now I will go watch my cherished recording of the classic "Coco the Clown" vice officer episode again. See the SW ask Coco if he's a cop. See him say "oh no baby I'm a lonely clown and you're cute" and sadisticly fire off a noisemaker shooting confetti in her face. See her procede to mention money and sex, and promptly get busted in Coco's clownmobile. See her sobbing "I thought you were a cop, but you said you weren't, you can't arrest me" while being stuffed into the back of a patrol car.

The ladies on the street they usually do not look much like working girls at all. But you will see them dressed provocatively and either are walking alone or with another girl. The approach I use is "can I walk with you?" and then if she agrees walk with her, shoot the breeze with her and then ask her if you can buy her a drink. If she is a working girl and wants to go with you she will come over to your Casino and obviously prices can be negotiated on the way or at the Casino.

I ran into a lady on the strip near Paris and walked with her for a couple of minutes. I told her I was staying at Caesars and wether she would join me to which she replied that she does not go into Caesars. At that point I said have a wonderful evening and bailed.

But I agree with the earlier posters bring them into your environment and use the safe they have in the rooms.

On thing to note is even at the bars at Caesars there are a lot of working girls and also the bartenders seem to be in the loop. I have also seen the working girls who stand out have been asked to leave the Casinos.

... but ultimately they decided it was a waste of time , effort , and resources because the Real Targets of the UC·op — the operators of the out·call services — never got nailed ; and any girl they arrested was bailed out and back working before all the paper·work was done

There is NO mention of UC Hotel John Stings , so I wouldn't worry about that

If a police woman allowed the target of a sting to freely touch her breasts, and then arrested him for solicitation after a deal was struck, I'd say that was pretty good grounds for dismissal for entrapment. He could argue that he was enticed, not thinking straight, whatever. Unless he said right out "Now that this test tells me you are not a cop, I want to offer money for sex," he should have no problem in court. Of course it is still inconvenient to be arrested in the first place.

Well, countering at $$ is really no prob. If she says no...she says no. But if you are expecting things will be less than that, you need to look elsewhere than on the strip.
