I am not really interested in a SD / SB arrangement. My question is really just out of curiosity than for getting "tips".

A lot of these girls request a "gift" at the initial meeting just to prove that the guys are serious about being a good SD (provider of funds). I get that. They want proof you're not just a tire kicker. However, has anyone ever asked the girls that do request a gift for proof, to prove that they (the girl) is also serious? After all, if you're going to give her a Prada bag (an example), then what proof do you get in return that she's actually looking for an arrangement, and not just there collecting proof from 100 guys without any intention of following through with the SD / SB arrangement?

You can buy her dinner or drinks if you want but nothing more. This is like an interview and how many have ever been paid to go to an interview. Some sb will request gas or babysitter money and that's a no no also. Just my rules. Just to meet to talk and get to know each other, not a dime.

If they are indeed looking for a sugar daddy, they are not going to care the hows or whys of contact. Texting is far easier than logging on to the site and jumping through hoops to communicate. Any that won't contact you via phone, they can of course block their number should they so choose, have no intention of ever meeting. Here's the thing. A majority of the girls that I run into on SA have unrealistic expectations. While in Florida I've had a woman ask for a 10 K loan, had someone ask for a car, and had an interesting experience in dealing with the rinsers. In Cincinnati, I've had a lot of the same: someone who wanted me to buy her a house, someone who wanted me to pay her back mortgage payments to get her home from foreclosure, someone who scammed me out of $1500, and someone who tried to get me arrested but, there are one or two ones who are legitimately sugar babies.

My general philosophy is that I'll gladly give $40 or even $100 to pay for gas and whatever on the first date, but, the first date is for me to actually see if her pictures check out in person and to make sure that she's not a nando 1 or just plain old bat shit crazy *****. If I meet her and she's not completely crazy, cute, and laughs at my jokes, I'll usually talk to her about her compensation. I am very clear to repeat what she says to make sure that there are no miscommunications and then I let her know my hard limits and rules in all of this. I'll tell her about my "one strike" policy, and that for the first six months of this, if she fucks up once, it's over and there will be no goodbye -- just me blocking her phone number and walking away. I make sure that she knows that she'll generally get compensated every week (on Thursday), and that it's her responsibility to make sure that she has either a US Bank account, or she signs up for a prepaid card and provides me the details so that she can get paid.

The rule is basically like an escort for the first time -- it's pay for play until we're both comfortable. Period. End of story. If she's not comfortable with that in the beginning, it's not going to work out.

Realistically, I go out on meet and greet dinners / coffee / drinks / park / casino three to four times as week. I'll have my Florida sugar baby over two nights a week, my Cincinnati sugar baby over one or two nights a week, and that's usually enough for my social calendar.

No -- it's all done through ACH / third party. My SB just sees it as income from ADP like a direct deposit from a paycheck if she uses a bank account, or, just loads from a bank account on a prepaid card. I don't really care about leaving a trail. But married SD's might care.

I don't use my first name until we've met; it's my last name only, and reservations will usually be made under my last name for dinner.

I normally refuse any money for a first meeting. I especially refuse to offer anything if I am not sure I want to see them again. More than 2/3 of my meetings are busts and I am not paying for that.
