When it asks for the dates of the stay I always put in the same day. It then generates the day use rate. The only drawback is that the elevators don't work without a room key. This means you have to meet the girls in the lobby and ride up together. While I've never had any issues, I can envision situations where it may potentially be awkward.

Years ago, a Marketing VP bitched at me in an email that I could lose all my accumulated points if I didn't stay at a hilton by a certain date.

I wrote back and stated if you want my points so bad and as a penalty, go ahead and take them now.

American Express used to pull crap like that too for not using their card more often. They have an annual fee so I dropped them like a bag of dirt, too.

Hilton and AmEx weren't doing me any favors, so adios bitches!
