No it was an official message from the police from a police department number. I'm just trying to figure out if they can get me for that. The police don't give out warnings or make phone calls. They show up at your house to arrest you or you get a summons to appear in court. If you would have called back chances are you could pay your "fine" over the phone with a CC or a gift card. Total scam.
