I totally agree. The influx of noobies that have no clue is beyond belief. When I joined this board new members seem to take their time, learn the ropes, tried to ask inteligent questions and become part of something that could help them and also made a strong effort to give back to the board community.

Saying that really just hit home with me. Community! That is the difference. We look at this a community. Yes some of the longer term members here have had our differences but we have always came upon a way to move past them and be productive members of the board community.

The noobies just look at it as a place to log on and say "Any info on this one? " Get easy free intel, get laid and move on. Hence all of the just post your stuff and move on and stfu comments. Then having no real desire to give back to the board once they are getting good quality information. They are just users using us for our info then throwing us aside and moving on. No different than just picking a provider, paying her for use then throwing her aside and moving on.

My opinion is that the only way to get ride of this infestation is to cut off their free and easy information. Make them do their own homework. Learn exactly how hard it is to be productive in our hobby. The deadbeats will eventually go away and the quality people like Jry Wild1 and co. Will stay and become respected Senior members.

I am one who certainly has benefited form the SM's over the last few years and would like to think that I have posted some very useful information as well. If you are a noob and unknown then you cannot be trusted, plain and simple. It's nothing personal. It comes with the territory. It doesn't matter to me if the SM's move to a PM communication system. I've paid my dues and likely get responses to PM's from Senior Members. Those of you who are still new are the ones that will pay the price. Keep up the foolishness and you will lose a wealth of resources.

To me it seems like there is quite a bit of disrespect going on from many of the newer members, both toward senior members and providers. It reminds me of the entitlement issue where it seems some feel entitled to receive everything they want exactly when they want it and of course with no cost or effort to themselves. To this I would like to respond and state that perhaps more information should be handled via the personal message forum so as to not re-enforce such immature behavior. As I am not a senior member this would impact me also in a negative fashion but if that is the price that must be paid then so be it. As with all of my posts, this is solely my opinion but I do appreciate the opportunity to voice that opinion.

You and Jry Wild1, among certain other regulars have earned your stripes! Good intel, thoughtful posts and much respect to others. In return, this has lead to the the respect from others including the quailty providers I know you all have seen. The nubies can only wish to have had this chance. I just recently loged back on here after seeing a provider off from my home. Yes, it is late and our time was. Memorable! Upon further review, I think it is very strange that someone that just joined the board comes out so strongely. I think that this is just someone that has been on the board, created a new account and wanted to fan the flames without outing himself as as idiot. JMHO.

It's a common trick where IPs aren't visibly logged as a part of your profile. To create new profiles to give your point of view more credibility, or votes (where votes come into play). I saw it all the time when I worked for Yahoo so long, long ago now. The best bet for anyone that is irked or just plain ticked off over someone's style or suspect of being a multiple, add that profile to your ignore list. Voila. Instant drama free board (as seen by you that is). If that's not enough, a mention to Jackson about the whole mess and to investigate potential multiple accounts is a possibility too. I seem to recall IPs being blocked from access was one of his penalties for malcontents, wasn't it? Again. Voila.. a drama free board in short order. ;)

As all of you know, the Cincinnati forum has turned to crap over the past month or so. "Newbie" bashing. Abusive language. Disrespecting each other. Disrespecting the Providers. Basically, treating each other like garbage.

In a recent discussion via PM with a member with whom I have had disagreements regarding their posts, I was asked if the advice I gave him applied to everyone. That started me thinking.

New Members, Old Members. Young Persons, Old Persons. New to the Hobby, Old to the Hobby. Regular Members [b]and[/b] Seniors. Hobbyists and Providers. All of you and myself included. Frankly, even if you have not been directly involved or vocal in what has been going on, it includes you too!

I am asking [u]each and every one of you[/u] To join with me in an effort to return this forum to what it is meant to be. It has been said before, [b]we are all here for the same thing[/b]. The childish behavior exhibited by so many Members (both Regular and Senior) of this forum is disgraceful. We are all adults and we should be acting like it. This has degenerated to the point where there is almost no reason to even read this forum anymore.

I am calling for a Truce. A Cease Fire. An Amnesty. By [b][i]EVERYONE[/i][/b]

That means no more "bashing" by the Seniors of the "new" or "low report count" Members.

No tirades by the New Members about how the Seniors are acting "holier than thou"

No degradation, name calling, nastiness, or abusive language used against Regular Members, Senior Members, or Providers by ANYONE.

I am asking that you begin treating each other with courtesy and respect. Like civilized Human Beings.

If we do not join together and accomplish this goal as a unified community, we all might as well just never come back here. No matter what has been said, we all need each other on this forum. Seniors, Regular Members, Providers. If information and advice is not shared by ALL members, NO ONE will benefit.

Every time someone replies to a previous "inflamed" comment with another mocking or abusive comment, the turmoil escalates. Then there is yet another acerbic comment. And things escalate a little further.

Hear me when I shout, "IT HAS GONE TOO FAR AND GONE ON LONG ENOUGH". I'm not trying to preach at you or anything, because based on what has been posted by many of you, [u]I think you all already agree with me[/u]. If we as a group do not make a conscious effort to stop this, it will not happen and this insanity will perpetuate.

Does this mean that the "lazy" posts by Members (Senior or Regular) who just want to leech off the forum will stop?

Does this mean that everyone will contribute and be a productive Member (Senior or Regular) of the forum?

Does this mean that the "clueless" posts by Members (Senior or Regular) who don't know better will stop?

Unfortunately, the answer to these questions is "NO". If you look in ANY forum, you will see that this happens everywhere.

So what do we do? I propose that we don't just GIVE these members intel. We advise them of how to post, how to do the research themselves, and how to ask for help. [b]BUT, [/b] The important part is that we don't just "bash" them or deride them in the open forum or reply with "RTFF". That only leads to where we are today.

Old adage: "Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach him to fish and he can feed himself for a lifetime"

If we just [b][i]give[/i][/b] These members intel, they will not learn. Teach each other instead. Help every member to become a productive member of the forum. Some might want choose to ignore the "ignorant newcomers", hoping they will just go away. Some may, but ignoring them will not solve the problem. There will always be another new member who needs guidance.

I am willing to write a set of guidelines that could be offered to those who are willing to learn and accept the guidance of those who have come before. I would welcome the input of [b][i]anyone[/i][/b] (Senior, Regular, Provider, old or new) who would like to collaborate with me on that endeavor.

I understand that many of the current group of seniors are tired of trying. I truly understand that and the frustration that they are feeling. If they want to step back, feeling that they have already done enough, I accept that. I hope that some of the seniors will continue to help or come back to help. They really DO have a lot of experience to share with the newer members of this forum and and new members of this hobby. I have learned much from them. Regardless, a new group must always step up to take leadership at some point. Which is as it should be. The student becomes the master.

I know egos have been bruised. Sensibilities have been shattered. Mob behavior has taken over. I am asking you all to put it aside and try to work together once again.

I believe I already have the support of a few of the Seniors and some of the Regular Members, notably Nkykinkyguy and CooperLamar. I believe they have both agreed to set aside their personal "feud" that has raged the Escorts Reports thread for several days now. I hope that both of them will vocally support my idea of reunification for the Cincinnati Forum. As I hope others will too.

I will leave you with a couple of last thoughts on how to accomplish some of this. It is not all inclusive, but it is a basic start.

[u]THINK before you post[/u].

1) If what you want to say is personal or directed to one person, send it via PM. Not the open forum.

2) If you disagree with something that someone posted, send it via PM. Not the open forum. Have an open discussion with them. Not an argument. Give them a chance to explain, maybe you misunderstood. Maybe if you express your point of view, they might agree with you and revise their post. Remember, not everyone agrees with each other. Be prepared to let it be.

3) If what you want to say benefits multiple people or the whole forum. Post an open report.

I believe using PM's effectively is probably the single most important thing that could be done to cut out all of this crap.

[b][i]More importantly, [/i][/b] Express yourself with tact and respect. Do not use abusive language or name calling. Be articulate and reasonable. I am willing to state unequivocally that if you approach another person with respect and grace, they will respond likewise.

All first time post long time watcher. As one of those people that tends to lurk and only read, in some members minds I may not be entitled to what I am about to say (type rather) I have been watching this board and others for over a year now and alot of what I see is drama drama drama. I honestly thought that as people with common interests we would be more willing to help each other out and look out for EVERYONES best interest because a chain (being US) is only as strong as its weakest link and isn't that exactly what we create by bashing, talking down or bad about one another and just in general acting like teenage girls in my opinion from what I see.

Seasoned guys. You should be nice and help and guide the new people so that we are all protected and yes I mean ALL. Show them the ropes so they don't make costly mistakes or have mishaps of getting scammed / robbed / personal info stolen. Also in a newbie as many of you have put it isn't posting correctly don't make them feel tiny by criticizing the post be constructive and TEACH the proper way

In the same respect new comers SHOULD read and learn but also shouldn't be chastised for for asking a question that they probably already went back and forth 100 times in their head before they even posted or messaged the question.

I just really think its sad that this is what this site has become, a bunch of like minded individuals that bicker and argue like children.
