She practically lived with me until her drug-of-choice drew here back to the streets to get more and more money. She took breaks here frequently. Her son even dug space in my back yard for a small plastic pond. A few years ago, he dropped by looking to scam me out of a bunch of money. It had been decades since her mother reportedly "moved" to Colorado, I think. There's a federal prison there. Back in the late nineties she turned on some Cuban gang members and had to enter witness protection.
It made no sense that her son was in Tampa. Bringing his daughter to college was the excuse he presented. Not likely.

Since I posted this, I searched for her som's name and it appears that he has one of the largest marijuana sales sites in all the country. I assumed he was scamming me because that is how his mother operated, but never against me. He may have been looking for an investor. Seems like I missed an opportunity. 2025 May 25th article about Colorado operator and laundering marijuana.

I've come across quite a few sex workers who have worked at some point in Las Vegas, whether that'd be strippers or escorts (streetwalkers admittedly not so much). And my point wasn't whether she was actually a scammer or not but rather questioning whether her connection to Hawaii had anything to do with it. Your friend from 30 years ago from Louisiana didn't have any connection to Hawaii, did she? And yet she also turned out to be a scammer. Ultimately, when it comes to scamming and hustling, these particular cases don't have as much to do with whether the providers in question come from Honolulu, Lafayette or Las Vegas as it does to the simple fact that these are druggies who are desperate for cash.

Called it a evening after I mistook someone for a dude. I guess that's something I need to work on LOL. But before that unpleasant ending to the evening, started the cruise at 00:30 just wanted to feel the waters for the evening (given that it had rained this evening so maybe they would be more likely to be out). I made a trip from fowler down past the sligh bridge and saw nothing. Decided it be best to kill some time so I popped into the PPCL and it was definitely the end of the night. Girls were more hanging amongst themselves probably since it was near closing so I just killed a couple beers and enjoyed some light conversations and views. After the PP I head back down Nebraska and in about three runs there and back I saw about a handful. The first one was difficult trying to get me to drive against traffic to get there. "no thanks" that's more attention than I want to draw. The second one I pulled up to gave me that bs so yeah it was uneventful but thought it'd be worth the share for sharing sake. Any tips for me on this side of town. I've RTFF but anything you might've picked up recently I'm happy to PM. Thanks!

You will also pass the Publix that geta a lot of mention here. Along the side streets near Publix you occasionally can find women walking or standing, especially if Publix is closed.
Since traffic on Hillsborough can be a challenge, I sometimes make the turnaround at the convenience store a long block north of Hillsborough. That would be at Powhaten. It is the Qwick Stop.
