The cops were not involved. The hotel would never want to invite trouble as it would ruin their business, lose one guest, and probably scare others.

So the best case scenario you have the hotel employees being overly active near her room, and potentially spooking out the next victim. Who would go home with his money in tact, and the provider not getting away with more thievery. Or the next victim doesn't get spooked and the hotel employees laugh at him because they are there to protect the guests paying their paychecks, not some john. If the next guy was not as nice as me, and did assault her, at least there would be the chance that security is nearby and could prevent a violent incident from getting worse.

What most likely happened, judging by the "not giving a fuck" attitude of the receptionist, is nothing. I also know the area well and I spend way too much time on BP at work looking for something in that area, and I've only seen an ad or two for providers staying there.
