I've often found that stricter parents usually result in more thrill-seeking behavior from the kids, and I can only think of a few cases where parents' curfew had any impact on my meetup with a girl. The girls always found a way, in some cases telling their parents they're walking to the store to get some things and meeting me in the store parking lot, or whatever they needed to do. I think FOSTA / SESTA led to greatly reduced marketing efforts for SA and that had a massive impact on the ratio of new recruits to horny guys looking for them that had the cash.

It's all a balance of supply and demand really, so what happens when the economy inevitably tanks and many of those horny guys no longer have the cash?

I almost wonder if this is already happening. I log on today and on see posts that are a month old on Page 1 of the Richmond forum. I don't recall that ever being the case back in the day, which seems to indicate to me winds of change and a drop off of horny guys with cash seeking. Not sure if that's an indicator of things to come with the economy, or a natural response to a demand surplus. I had a meet and greet about a week and a half ago. Very attractive lady in her mid 20's. We hit it off pretty well. An agreement was reached with a PPM of $300 with the meets being monthly or twice a month. After the agreement was reached, I went back onto one of the SB platforms to stock up my roster. And I only had one other with the same agreement. I reached out to her recently and told her I would like to set up a date with her soon. Her reply was that she noticed I continued to log onto this particular SB platform after the agreement, she did not want to be left hung out to dry, and wished me the best. I responded reiterating what had been the agreement, and that if she changes her mind to reach back out to me.

My guess is she used it as an out as she found another more affluent SD. It happens.

Any advice or observations, or how can one stock a roster without triggering this. Set up a duplicate profile?

The simplest interpretation is to take her literally: she wants a guy who is exclusive and wants to avoid a hit and run. I'm not saying you would do that, but just offering a possible interpretation. Of course, some guys have so much money they can maintain a "roster" and keep all the girls satisfied. C'est la vie. I think the Pareto principle applies to sugar daddies as well as it does for a lot of other things in life, except instead of being the 80/20 rule it might be the 99/1 rule! And I'm definitely not in the 1% -- I struggle to maintain one girl; and usually she ends up being the one having a roster! LOL. So it goes both ways.

I guess due to coming from the AMP, escort and streetwalker scene, my mindset in approaching the sugar bowl is that the so called default arrangement with SBs. At least in the mind of an SB. Also, some self-appointed experts created on the Richmond thread a more purified "Sugarbaby Thread Highlights, Index, and FAQ", which is somewhat useful. It's hard to give general advice because everyone is different, and besides, experience is the best teacher. You have to think about what you're looking for, and then search for that. My niche is around 19 - 20 yo college girl who is fairly intelligent and reliable and doesn't consider herself to be a hooker, even though it's obviously based on "sugar". Talk to them for awhile to build trust and to increase the odds that they are not crazy (a common problem) and avoid scams (another common problem). Certain guys seem to know what they are doing (not me, LOL!) so it's helped me to look at their posting history.

The mod of the regular sugar thread, a dude by the handle JZLizard, compiled there the things he thought were worth preserving. I'd read through the entire thread at the time, taken notes for myself, and figured it was worth sharing what I'd learned.

A few of my posts got into that archive, I had nothing to do w / their selection, and I only consider myself an expert on what works for me. Now no shade intended here, just some observations The Bowl has changed in the last few years for any number of reasons.

First, With those idiots that ran Backpage failing to take precautions, we got the new Law called FOSTA / SESTA that now holds website owners both criminally and civilly liable for sex trafficking on their site. So, SA rebranded to a regular dating site: nudge, nudge, wink, wink. But for those who don't know or follow the history, they see it as just a site like Tinder, Match, etc. So there are a lot of people on both sides that don't get the P2 P aspect and waste time. Guys that are looking for free or are cheap are often referred to as "Splenda Daddies. " So yeah, maybe some girls show up looking for IRL, LT relationships?

Second, many guys see SA as just another escort site and approach girls as if they were sex workers (SWers). (yeah, I know we can debate all day on this.) The point being that most girls who go on SA don't see themselves as SWers and if dudes want to be successful with them they need to recognize this difference and feed the girl's fantasy. Oh sure, there are plenty of pros that inhabit SA as just one of their marketing tools, but one can usually sus them out by proposing a platonic, non-paid Meet & Greet. Most pros won't spend the time for that. So the way one approaches a girl is key, depending on what one wants.

Third, not sure the concept of a SD-SB relationship is clear anymore? Traditionally it was an older (but not necessarily) gent who treated a younger girl to luxuries. It was dating on the side which included dinners, outings, travel and lots of vertical stuff in addition to the obvious horizontal sexual play. Key emphasis is on the [I]relationship[/I] aspect. Unfortunately with guys who migrate to SA from traditional escorts they are usually looking for quick, on demand, hook-ups. From my reading it looks like a fair number of dudes like to open new Christmas presents frequently and end up doing the old 'pump & dump' with these girls. Few girls who want a traditional SB-SD relationships are down for being pumped & dumped or dudes who are screwing around. Relationship and STD reasons usually the catalyst there.

Fourth, there are a large number of "influencers" on SM that spout BS about Sugar dating and cloud the Bowl. These girls promote a false narrative that is something on the order of FinDom. Or maybe it is a girl, who is embarrassed to admit she's P2 P, and tells her BFF that some dude just gives her money and she doesn't have to do any sex. Many think they can do platonic sugar relationships or online relationships. These girls are usually rinsers.

So from this chair there is no standard situation as every girl is different. Certainly sorting, sifting and vetting through profiles is tougher these days. One has to know what they want, read profiles and don't just look at the pics and respond in a way that is appropriate to the profile and situation sought. Remember on the other side of the equation is a girl who may or may not have experience, but knows what she wants, has boundaries and might be quick to get the ick from dudes. With so many dudes acting like Neanderthals (see it daily on other threads) girls might be sensitive and quick to "next" dudes if their approach doesn't match her desires. Not being FT SWers, they are not under pressure to respond to every dude who contacts them and often exercise their right of refusal. So it is a delicate balance. Dudes looking for escorts can find them, but may also offend those looking for a more traditional Sugar [I]Relationship.[/I].

It also was extremely helpful to me as I started out. A PhD Master Class at one's finger tips.

Sadly, I think many jump right in with "experiential learning" or 'fake it till you make it' when a bit of study might help them avoid bad situations and wasted time. Yeah, it does take some time to develop one's own particular communication style, but getting there I can say has been worthwhile and yielded excellent results!
