OK, I'll lower Angels to "silver standard". It's just MY experience there is way better than any other AMP presently. I'm a veteran of a lot of AMPs, FS and other. (before I signed up for this forum). Maybe I get "better treatment" than others who visit there? Instead of whining about how Angels isn't THAT great, how about we all decide what's the best AMP experience out there in a 50 mile radius of Boston. For me, it's Angels for now, reason for the gushing.

I tried a CL ad with the phone number 8087. The listing was for 95 exit 21, but really it was in Wellesley Center. The woman gave me a fake address and I had to call once arriving to find the real one.

Inside it was a crappy apartment. I asked for some water and she didn't have a cup. The was a bedroom in back with a mattress on the floor. There was enough towels to cover the bed, but none for draping.

The girl was Chinese and communication was tough. Her bedside manner left a lot to be desired and she had a depressing attitude. The house fee was $70.

The massage was decent for about 5 minutes while she worked on the back. The rest of the body was not good. The massage was over after 10 minutes and then light teasing for about 5.

Flip, 15 minutes in, for $70. WTF. She wanted $60 for HJ, nothing else on the menu. Haggled to $40. She removed her top after requesting and I had to undo the bra finally revealing saggy A cups. I tried to roam downstairs, but was denied. The HJ was rushed and she stopped immediately.

There is more bad stuff to write but you get where this is going. I will not repeat. I was out the door in about 25 minutes and felt cheated.

I have been to sunny spa many times. I always just walk in. the greet me fine. I get a 1 hr. session with a table shower first and then a massage and etc. What ever you want. They have always been good to me.

Wasn't meant as a knock on you or your opinions. As I mentioned, there are a lot of others on here that agree with you. And quite frankly, I don't knock people that actually provide reviews and add value to the forum, regardless of what their opinions are. I really was just trying to get to the bottom of it and get a better understanding of what I must be missing. Thats all, just curiosity on my part.

Why, you might ask? I was standing up for over 4 hours tonite (Tuesday) - I attended the Scott Brown victory party at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel tonite - what an electric atmosphere! But my legs are aching from standing among the throngs watching Doug Flutie's Band play, then Ayla Brown sing. After her 2nd song, she announced to the crowd that her dad had just received the telephone call from Coakley conceding the election - man, did that place erupt!!!

So, thank all of you from MA who went to vote. Whether you voted for the winner or the loser, the turnout showed why this state is still the best educated and now the best represented in the country!

I'm hoping that when I get up tomorrow (today), I'll be able to drag my tired ass down to Waltham for some well-deserved theraputic healing.

Sorry guy - sounds like you just hit one of the 'bad rotation' girls. I had frequented this place occasionally (not since my hiatis though) and saw 3 or 4 of the girls. I think the last one reviewed here was Lisa. Most of the girls I saw were mid to late 20's and while the English wasn't great they were personable and on the cuter side. The massage was always so-so since they were there for the tip. FS was always avail (for 80-100) and although they weren't always good at it they tried. I'm guessing this is a 'training' ground rather than a place for those already trained.

Plus opinions vary based on who you get. AMPs are a hit or miss most of the time. With the two week rotation God knows what you'll get. I hit one in Weymouth a few weeks back where I've had so-so luck in the past. I was stressed so I figured what the hell. Jackpot. Lots of variables in this game.

I've posted a few times here but generally keep to myself. Just wanted to post a quick report.

I've answered the following craigslist ad three times before, and today was my fourth go around. It's basically FS for 160, no tip needed/expected. I feel like this is definitely the cheapest FS around, although I may be mistaken.

All four times I've gone it's been a different girl, and they've all told me the same thing: they are only around for a few weeks and then move on. It looks like they rotate the ladies out every two weeks or so. Girls are never gorgeous, but not ugly either. I'd say 6-8. Never too old either which is nice (by this I mean typically early-mid 30s).

If anyone else wants any more details please don't hesitate to ask.

Dan-your absolutely right. You and I (and a couple of others) go way back on this place and as you and most of the regulars know we have gone to great lengths to keep this place off the radar both for our own selfish reasons and for the huge amount of respect we have for mgmt. For the newbies as a quick bit of backround we were asked to keep these 2 places off the board as much as possible and give a lot of the info B/C. For those who have not been visited there is a lot of capital tied up in both places as a legit and well run spas. The massages that we enjoy so much are 'to say it delicately' turned a blind eye to as long as it doesn't endanger or cause a problem to the business. Nuff said. I do ask and hope that those of you who are new will help to keep this possible and if info is needed do it b/c.

That being said...I have been going there for quite awhile and am a trusted client by mgmt and the receptionists. (not bragging but being a good and decent guy gets us noticed) Occasionally there has been an issue and when I have mentioned it...the problem has been take care of quickly and efficiently. And your right 10 minutes off the time is not a big deal and I wouldn't say anything about it. The first time this happened with Nellie I said...fine I'm not going to say anything. Not a big deal. When it happened again for a second time I decided it was time to offer it up. (and yes the 30 minutes incl a couple of minutes in the waiting room and getting dressed and a wee bit of chat in the hallway) I thought about saying something to Amber (and yes I agree..not only is she one of the most personable ladies I have met but also one of the most beautiful...a 15 on a scale of 10..but I digress!) but it isn't her fault and neither is it her issue. And by saying something to the owner (who is dear to me) I figured all I was going to do is to cause more drama at the place of which she, we and they don't need any more of.
So I figured that since there isn't a lot of business anywhere at the moment and there are certainly some very sweet ladies working there trying to get a piece of that business what better way to help them out and get my point across than to ask you guys to steer clear of her and give the other ladies your business. Of course that is up to you but at least I did my part which gives me a wee bit of satisfaction. So back underground we go!

I can see where the Mgmt times you but the time should start from the minute you are led by the woman to the room. I can see up to a 5 minute maximum wait for the woman to come back while you disrobe. No reason to short you from there on.

I used to go to a place called "Mandalla" in Newton. The Management got slack and the the woman would say : " we don't make change at the front desk". The price at that time was $ 70 and I had 4 $ 20 bills = $ 80. the from desk person had a metal box that FULL of $$ and refused to give me back $ 10. I said fine and went on. Then the massage woman said the One hour massage that I purchased was actually 45 minutes and no more. HMMMM
After the massage the woman saw my $ 40 tip and said : " she only accepts $ 50 tips and no less" I said Ok and put the $ 40 back in my wallet and left the place never to return. HA HA

This topic has been discussed to a great length and is an important one to share in any "review" of a provider or spa. I applaud Steve for telling her to basically to fuck off. To allow a provider to dictate the tip is nuts.
