Glad to see them go as maybe the message will get through. I think the AMPs in town as a whole have been feeling the effects of the Alaskan economic slump. The gals I like to see have all been saying business is down. Not surprising.

The AMP at the end of Muldoon near the Glenn has changed names from Muldoon Massage to Blue Moon. I called over and the gal sounded very nice and friendly. She says they are open til midnight. Anyone try it out? I hope they got new girls. Muldoon Massage had sour old hags that should have retired 30 years ago.

Oriental Therapy definitely seems to be that place that takes advantage of out of towners.

I went a couple of months ago, gave 60 for the 'hour' but it was essentially just an cover, you don't even get a massage for that. The girl was pretty fine I'll give them that, so maybe if you were willing to blow 250-300 you could have a good time (didn't seem like anything was off the table) but as far as the MP experience felt like I got suckered. Oh well live and learn.

Still the best overall AMP in Anchorage in my opinion. There is no menu; just a great massage + HE. Ida works out every knot, and her massages are almost on par with a traditional, licensed massage therapist.

Good for them and the patrons that can afford them.

It is once in a blue moon for me. I don't feel ripped off though because I know what the damage is going to be before I go.

So, long time lurker, second post. Finally had an excuse to make it to the east side and noticed Muldoon massage is now Blue Moon Spa. The name isn't the only thing that has changed! There's a couple new (to me anyway) girls that are there now. Seen a glimpse of the girl in the back behind the door greeter and was pleasantly surprised; and slightly smitten, with a Yes, when I asked if the other girl was available. The door greeter wasn't too bad if you like short, slightly chubby, middle aged, plain AMP therapist types. The girl I got to Spend time with was my cup o tea. Late twenties, taller than the average AMP therapist, thick as to be slightly chubby herself, with a hard body underneath, and an O face I could look at regularly. Little more spendy with. 7 house fee for Hour and 2. 0 for CFS. Only drawback was that she took the reigns with negotiations and wouldn't budge on what was allowed or not. Safety girl and I can't blame her! As always, YMMV. Find out for yourself if your cup o tea is there.

Went there today expecting to see Sherry, saw Mae instead. Very nice and pleasant, better than average massage with predictable finish. Paid 60 for the hour which is normal for town. Feeling satisfied with the service I peeled off some tip money and thought I was being pretty generous with 60. She appeared almost offended and wanted all the cash I had. Now, I was caught pretty off guard on that one. It felt like a shakedown. I refused, put on my boots and left. Was I out of line here? My feeling is that 40 for a HE is typical, 60 is exceptional. Don't think I'll be returning anytime soon.

I had some free time and need of a good massage. Stopped by River Spa, luckily Sherry is back. She was amazing, great massages.
