Anyone notice that this area has dried up with SA and SDFM? There are no new SDFM candidates in my search zone for weeks and SA only has a few new SBs every few days. Any other websites yielding new talent? Is the economy that good? What is the dynamic guys?

My searches come up with the same hits and a load of others who have not logged in for weeks. I notice this particularly the over-30 ranges that I search in (personal preference). I just wonder how much nicer weather has to do with it (I.e. They could be traveling more, enjoying lower energy bills, etc). Early May is usually final exam time in most colleges so many could be packing up to go home for the summer, etc.
I used to always notice seasonal fluctuations in online civy dating. Fred, you have more experience in the SB world than I do, but I have hired a lot of private contractors in my day. You just can't let them get too far ahead of you. If you pay them in advance, its like leaving money on the table. After that they are faced with a choice of doing your job for free (because they won't get any money for it since they have already been paid) or doing a job for someone else and making their beer money.
I don't disagree with you for advancing some sum of money, but maybe you gave her too much.
It seems that you are better with her for now until you find a replacement. I also am increasingly moving toward a policy of never even discussing price ahead of time because I believe that locking in a price obligates me to pay that price regardless of performance, and once I do that then the SB is in control of how good the performance is and I am unwilling to give them that control. I think spammers put fake profiles to collect e-mail addresses so they can send "Hey remember me?? Sending you some nasty photos" type e-mails hoping we will click the links within indiscriminately. It's gotten so bad that the next time I renew on the SD sites (whenever my GF goes out of town probably), I'm just going to start with another bogus email addy. I'm talking currently about 40 spam mails per day -- it was nothing like that last year so something is going on lately.
Ultimately what I'd be worried about on a pay-per-contact site is the folks getting paid generating the fake profiles. The 2.5 k a month I spend is for at least 22 total visits from multiple girls in a month. Some last an hour. Some last 24 hours. My average per visit this year is at about $.2 per visit. To get paid the girl must get me off one way or another. Most are trained to perform a choreographed set of scenes that result in the best climax I can possibly achieve. Having spent the 12 years in Asia it's an understatement to say there is "reverse culture" shock -- especially when it comes to a "target rich environment". The amount of work required to recruit, meet, evaluate, and stay safe in the US sugar bowl is tedious. About like trying to eat a hundred pounds of grits with a toothpick.
In China -- if you can speak Chinese -- you have to be careful not to be in a constant state of burn out. The tidal ways of university students is endless. And everyone is more than willing to help with your Chinese if you help with their English.
It's endless and the miles and miles of legs never stop. (Note: this is not a plug, but sometime check out "beauty leg" which has a tone of the tall thin ones, not do much the bubble butt types from southern China (which I happen to prefer, but I'll still take the long legged Dong Bei northeast types any time).
Thailand is not as good as it used to be, as the real Thai Princess types are more difficult to find. But when you do, they play on a whole different gee level and have skin and soft hands to die for. A kind of graceful elegance with big energy in the bed. They will get their fair share, and not stop until they are done. Haven't found one single Thai girl in my area that is under 35, married, and has kids. Very sad.
