It also doesn't change the fact, and these are facts, that while there have been 260 odd thousand "covid deaths" the number of people who are dying in the US of all causes is exactly the same this year as the last three years, there are just less cancer, and heart disease deaths and nearly no influenza deaths.
91% of the covid "deaths" were over the age of 55 and of them 94% had an average of 2.6 comorbidities that covid feeds on. So yeah, most of them were going to die this year which is why the number of deaths from all causes is unchanged.
